opinion and suggestion needed!

In my old days, I love to collecting stamps and it was easily to get the stamps whenever there was a post coming. However, people nowadays prefer to e-mail rather than sending a post right to our house. Honestly saying, I do not want this hobby just stop right at here; there are still a lot of stamps that I wanted to explore, to having it, especially stamps from other countries. I am thinking of opening a site, maybe by blogging to have some stamp exchanging with mylotters. So what's your opinion? Do you think that there will be people respond to this kind of activity? Just need your opinion on this matter so that I can save my time and doing the right thing. If you think this will not give help, what are your other suggestions?
