Here's something I thought was kind of strange...

I have reported myself as well for double postings especially when the internet is just so slow and i thought it hasn't been posted. I think it's only proper to report my own self for such abuse just to show good faith.

I also didn't understand why on earth you would need a button to report yourself! But the responses to this discussion make a lot of sense - I actually double posted by mistake the other day and wasn't sure what to do about it, as I didn't want people to think I was spamming or anything! I will remember this button in the future and be sure to use it :)

hi crimsonladybug sometimes we do not see a whole bunch of errors we have made after we hit post so if we feel its just too too bad we can ask mylot to delete it. also sometimes we have a glitch and we think our post did not go through so we push post again then we find we have one or two duplicates so in that case you can hit the exclamation point and explain you had a glitch and came up with an extra copy or two and ask them to delete it at once so nobody will comment on it and lose earnings. see if you do not ask the admins to delete it right away they will delete extra copies later and if anyone commented on those they will lose earnings. so best to report your extra copies at once.

Oh wow good point crimsonladybug.I never notice this,probably because i never really look at my comments after I post them.I sometimes look at other peoples comments and I never really noticed the positive,negative,report signs.Maybe I should pay more attention here on mylot.lol

Well in my opinion, I think it is there because we might want some of our discussions or responses to be deleted. Since there is no delete button, as you might have noticed, you can report yourself and give them a reason why you want it to be removed and then they do it. I have had my discussions reported coz I wanted to delete it.
