I have done somethings, but I swear my butt feels bigger I have sat on it so much today. I have been exhausted today and just dont feel that good. Im full of mixed emotions and just need a break. My husband is out to sea and my life revoles around my kids. I am in so need of a break and to just have fun without having to take care of some one else. So today I have just been so lazy. I feel horrible. My son has watched tv almost all day. I dont allow that. I like him to play and we do things and I ended up falling asleep. I have definatly been a lazy Mom today. Here is to hoping tomorrow Im feeling more like myself, but for now I would love to go hide under a rock and just listen to silence.

Find someone to watch the kids and just take a day or evening off. No chores or errands. It's healthy to do this about once a week. I get the evenings more or less to myself that is why I'm on here right now instead of pulling my hair out.

What's so special about being a housewife is that we don't get a day off work at all. It's good that you have decided even just for a day to be lazy. One day in front of the tv won't hurt your son.
You deserve to take a rest once in awhile. Get a fitflop, walk around the neighborhood with your kids. That would make your butt smaller and your legs longer!

Lol! I definatly need to work on the butt. I need more than one lazy day, because even the one wasnt lazy enough. Still had to clean and take care of kids. Tomorrow were going to the library. I think we will start visiting the pool more as well and Im thinking of doing a family karate class if I can find one. Hopefully that will help my butt.

Hi there Tink91879!
I think that some of us really get to feel that way especially when everyday we do the same things and we just stay at home to do chores. I believe you need a day off. Maybe you can have a relative or someone you can trust come over just to have a break. One whole day that is just about you. I don't think there's anything selfish about that at all. Both you and your child will benefit from that break once you got your energy refreshed and your head cleared.

I could so use a break. I really should see if I can find some one. My family is about 8 hours away and Im just now on the search for a babysitter. I believe I found one and have heard good things about her. We tried one babysitter and we were not pleased at all. I have no idea what I would do, but just getting out and walking a mall or something without having to constatnly check for my kids or do what they want, etc would be so nice.

Tink its normal, we all have been there. honestly. I also have my lazy days and believe me its normal.. at times you can just put your hand high and say surrender even for a day..we are entitled to these days
and have our peace and quiet moment.

I feel like surrendering. I love my kids, but one needs a breather to collect their thoughts and recharge. Ill have to look into something. Thank you.
