yes,, too much sleeping is already considered a sleeping disorder. it is called hypersomnia where you sleep atmost 12hours a day, 5hours is okay, 6hours is fine too, 8hours is awesome but too much is a no no.
wake up sleepy head! stand up or sit down, do anything that will satisfy your day of living, remember, live your life to the fullest, you might not know that this would be your last day on earth =) enjoy life,
but be sure to sleep too, just right sleep..
how about you, u love to sleep huh??

Too much sleep, also forces the body to move slower compared to the normal body scheme. This is due to the fact that the body already wants to rest most of the time.

I am getting less sleep for the last 10 years due to depression. For the first 5 years I didn't sleep at all and I wonder how could I struggle in the office. Lately I can sleep better and quality since I retired from outside job. I am currently doing online work.

When I was in night shift, my sleeping hours is roughly 6 - 7 hours. But after i have left my work, I'm getting around 10 - 12 hours of sleep a day. Whooah I don't know that this is a sleeping disorder already. Anyway thanks for sharing this one.

Appropriate sleeping time is different to different person.
A baby needs 12 or more hours of sleep a day, however, the old could barely sleep for 4 to 5 hours per day.
But I agree with you on the issue that too much sleep is not so good as we think before.
It is important for us to figure out how much time is exactly the appropriate amount we need to recovery from hard working the whole day before.
Hope you get nice sleep everyday!

Well I love to sleep. But I don't get that much sleep anymore because our duty shift is nocturnal so I get to saty up whole night and in the morning I can't sleep right away. By the way what happens when you sleep too much?

Actually, I am not a fan a sleep. I stay up as late as I can each night even though I know I will pay for it the next day. It's already 1 a.m where I am.
I think of all the time we lose when we sleep. Imagine how much more we could accomplish if we were not wired to waste eight hours every single day!
