Demographics shows that the population crowned by Gray Hair is increasing in proportion to the younger generation. The proportion is expected to increase rather than shrink in the next decades due to advances in holistic health care.
With this in mind, do you think it is high time to consider the construction of Retirement Villages as a new kind of development option, as suburbia is in relation to the city? How would you call these Retirement Villages? Retiria? Gray Hairia? Senioria? Gray Pantheria? What?
How will these Retirement Villages play economic, political, cultural, and social roles in the community and in the country? In ancient Rome, the Roman Senate held considerable authority in Roman politics as a deliberative governing body. The Roman "SENATUS" or Senate was actually derived from the Latin word "SENEX," which stood for "ELDER" or the "COUNCIL OF ELDERS." Why don't we take a leaf from ancient Rome?
