Is it just me?

Yup I noticed that too humbug25 it seems like a lot of members are MIA, but who knows maybe some of the US members are still hungover from all those forth of July party's LOL or maybe most members are just busy with their offline lives, I don't know but I'm always here unless something else comes up offline that prevents me from posting, but that's not too often I'm a pretty loyal poster Well all I can say is get it together people and get back to the lot we miss you, and besides it's easy to post now all you gotta do is post from your fancy IPhone or whatever other Internet phone you have, and bam! easy posting.

Seems odd that all your friends have stopped commenting and starting discussions. I know I go through phases on this site, I can be on it everyday for 3 months and then nothing for a month. It just depends what I'm doing at home, family life and how busy, or quiet, it is on the survey front. I don't think people have run out of things to comment on, maybe some people are unsure that what they want to discuss other will join in with.

As for me, my inbox always has 'friends started' notifications but I don't find time to take up all this topics. Besides these, there are so many under 'recent' for anyone to keep themselves busy. I have no complaints.

Summer time in the Northern hemisphere,might explain why some people are spending less time on the computer! I know that on a beautiful summer day I rather spend the day outdoors(considering also the shortness of summer in Canada).

Hello Humbug25, May be they are busy in their offline and house hold works.May be they will return as soon as they finish them or they will come at the end of the month. I have made 62 friends in 2 months but rarely they come to my discussion too.But never mind they are my friends does not matter if they don't come to discus.

Its been 3 week for having joined mylot.In these 3 weeks i have noticed there are only few active discussions.There are only about 1000 people who start discussion and respond to discussion.But if we see at the population of mylot it is more than 2 lakhs. Even after this i enjoy mylot more and stay at mylot more because i find facebook less active than this.I find mylot a true discussion site and facebook a spammers site. I hope all the new users and your 300 friends who felt mylot not worth their time return soon.

Since I stopped posting discussions I have slowed right down. I tend to answer friends' discussions but beyond that it's a bit of a reponse wilderness for me. One thing abut having been here for so long is that there is a tendency to see the same discussions coming round. I really can't be bothered to say again what I may have said two or three times before so don't bother. I hate not making discussions, but it's not worth the risk of having them deleted. So it's responding I will go. But yes, things are quiet.

i know what you mean. but i think a lot of people are just very busy. or like me, only have bad sad things to post, so maybe they feel like i do sometimes/. not really wanting to bring others down and sad because im so depressed. then, also, ive seen so many say they dont have their notifiers on and i think thats odd as to me, why have a friend if you dont see their discussions? then theres alway, how many you are truely interested in? you know.

have you checked them through mylot or just thought depending on mail? i had a problem with my mail box as i did not received any mail.... then i checked the spam box and got all the notifications. You may check it.

Maybe some friends of yours are still enjoying the summer while here in our side we are enjoying our stay at home because of flooded streets due to heavy rains which is favorable for me for I have more time here in mylot. I guess they'll be back soon when summer is gone on their side. Yes, considering the number of mylot members I too wonders why few are really active now a days.It happens to me too when I can not think of a good topic to start a discussion so mostly I just post comments on discussions started by other members.

Yes I have well over 800+ friends who have not always been active at the same time, but I do see a change going on. Usually I see a lot more discussions in the new started discussion tabs and there are fewer. I do know that here in the US, it is summer so that may be a contributing factor, where perhaps many are outdoors enjoying their families.

hi friend, i dont know about friends. but me myself have stopped mylotting for few months ago, now i restarted. i think it will happen commonly, when they got busy with their lives

I just saw my inbox and there was nine email from my friends starting discussions. But I'm really new here compared to you, and my friends too. Perhaps this situation is temporary for you, and I hope your inbox is full again with new debates.

We're here! :) Haha! I actually just joined myLot, so I haven't been making enough "noise" yet. But, I promise I will! Haha! So far, the ones on my friends list have been starting discussions and making comments, so so far so good. :)

Like you mentioned maybe people are bored with the site and are not posting as much. Afterall it does take some time and dedication to make the payout. And of course I do run out of topics to start myself that seem of interest. Plus there are people who only comment and don't start conversations and then there are those who start conversations and don't respond to their replies.

For me yes it is happened because many thing's would be made of when you are in absent for now it is nice to be with or without.

Really? All 300 of your friends stop posting, or responding to your discussions? That is some thing weird about that. It shouldn't be all of them be gone the same time. I constantly received updated on my email from mylot, and many of them still posting, and responding though. Maybe mylot delete your email notification.

Yes, I need to post more too. Sadly, time is always a factor. I have many things I wish to discuss, so I will try harder to do better at the posting. Glad you pointed that out though! There is SO much going on in the news today that it really isn't all that difficult to come up with ideas for new discussions. Especially so, in the arena of politics. There are big changes going on in literally every single country on planet Earth! I wonder how it all will turn out...I'm optimistic! :)

You're right. Its been really quiet here in myLot compared from the past few months! When I joined here in myLot I always see new discussion every minute when I refresh my homepage! Now? It rarely happens! Maybe they are getting busy in the real world!
