Meaning of life

'What is the meaning of life' represents a question that has occupied and even tormented many thinkers and philosophers since ancient times,and I guess very few of them could find a reasonable answer no matter how much they tried.No one could discover the essence of life and probably no one will until the end of civilization,but it's obvious that people won't give up looking for answers because it's in human nature to try to find answers to everything,even if there are issues which can't be explained completely.Who knows,maybe one day some great philosopher will tell us what the meaning of life is.

I think that what has given me a sense of grasping the meaning of life is centered in the word "love". But I´m also aware that we are less than perfect and it´s a hard walk t reach a small part of our goal. I have had helpers during my life and although some of them are not with me , their memories and wisdom surround me in times of need. Have a lovely day. A wonderful post. I needed it.

For me, life is a farce. My life is full of falsehoods. I played the role I have to do. I must not, out of my role to be played. This is the life, from my point of view.

That is for you to find out. If everyone had the same meaning for life, that would be very boring, and we can't progress as humans. Each person on this discussion may give similar answers, but there will be some who are totally different. Each person has a different purpose, or supposedly have a different purpose, people can become this, or become that. That is why I emphasize that you have your own personal meaning for life. Or living for that matter. I personally have not found my purpose, though I have thought about it, I am not certain if it is what it is. Reason because of my habits and attitude towards things. We can always talk about what we are and what we want, but unless you take action your talk has no meaning. Though personally I have taken action to things, but I quickly lose that initial interest I had.

Without God life is meaningless,if you want to get the full value of life you must know and believe that we have GOD.We are too busy doing lots of things in this world yet we come to a point that we forget to pray for not only for protection but giving time communicating God..We take wrong paths in our life, experiencing difficulties and trials in life, meeting accidents,broken relationships,unhappy family and a lot more,just ask yourself why you're experiencing all of this? No matter how hard you try to be successful in all aspects of life..without God..all things will turn to NAUGHT! Having GOD in our lives and following all His commandments are the secret to have a meaningful life in this world.No doubt about it.With God all impossible things can be POSSIBLE !!!!

Frankly speaking we do not know the meaning of our life , what we know and seems to understand a bit is just the literal meaning of LIFE .There are various layers of life and we are aware of only superficial layers which connect ourselves with our surroundings .But we are completely ignorant about other layers or dimensions which are far more deeper and subtle .So until we are not able to explore those deeper layers of life we wont be able to understand life completely and thus we can not say that we know the meaning of life in true sense

For me life is useful if you worship the only true God Jehovah then you find the true meaning of life.

I think this call be called self-attainment? It's really a difficult task to achieve to really get to understand the meaning of life. However, It would be great for people to reach this stage because once we are here, we'll be able to fully experience life and to lead a good one.

Hello I think that God gives live to us to be happy and positive natures.Most of us often forget about this and fill our lifes with troubles that make us unsatisfied.Anyway It can happend because of much factors that comes in our lives and try to put their meaning as a main thing in life.

I think my personal relationship with God and my spiritual outlook has a great effect on how I view life and the meaning of it. There diffiently is a meaning to life. Everything on our planet gives evidence of that. We enjoy life and find happiness in the most wonderful things because life is meant to be enjoyed. The many different foods we have to enjoy, the variety of colors we. We don't need a variety of foods, or variety of colors in order to be able to live. We have these things because they are gifts for us to enjoy. Whether others take notice of them or not, we have them- the seasons, the animals etc. I really do appreciate all these.

The big secret about the meaning of life is very simple. There is none. Life is life, and it's all about perspective. In a way, we are all as insignificant as grains of sand, and nothing we ever do is important. The biggest joys in our life, watching a baby take his first steps, and buying a house, and going on a trip, are all things that happen each day. Our greatest sorrows, like losing a parent or getting sick, also happen every day. Logically, nothing really matters and we all could reasonably be apathetic. But while we're here, we can take control of our lives, and not be apathetic about it. Since everything is just so small, we are larger than life, and we have more control than we think. We may never reach our full potential, but we can achieve a lot more than we ever reach for. We can also be happy and sit at home, and not accomplish much, but just be happy. There's no wrong way to do it. There is nothing wrong with going out and starting a revolution, but there is nothing wrong with sitting at home and being content, either. The meaning of life is more of the meaning of ourselves. We have so much power, and we can use it as we wish. Happiness is just one aspect, but there is so much meaning, or so little, that we can go after. The secret is, life is as much nothing as it is everything.
