Yesterday, I didn't do anything except sleeping the whole day. I just wanted to sleep and I did.
Today, I waken up feeling rather "blank" and wondering why I am feeling rather "zero" motivation.
I need to find my inner motivations to move forward. I need it so much that I cannot just "quit".
I JUST NEED SO MUCH OF POSITIVE ENERGY!!!! MOTIVATE ME PLEASEEE!

Why do I get a feeling that you are waiting for me to appear? Haha!
Sleeping the whole day? What are you? A piglet?
Come, just take a bus and come down to Penang and have a break from work. You sure need it.
Motivation. Ah yes! We tend to lose it sometimes. What you should do is maybe go hang out with friends. Sit down, have a few drinks (like 'teh tarik' maybe) and talk to your friends. I usually find my motivation comes from talking with friends, as ideas would come to mind when we talk and listen.
I have not been having much motivation lately as I am being confined at home because of my chicken pox. But I hope to be able to get out of the house soon. I really need to get out of the house.

Haiya! You know me la, always the almost last one to arrive. So, luckily I arrive not too late, hor!
Yea, didn't you see the news - "Oldie Gets Chicken Pox!" Both my children got it last year but funny thing is that I didn't get it then. I am much better now, thank you. Just waiting for the scars to disappear so that when I go out, I don't scare people when they see me. You know la how some people would react as if I am having some kind of deadly disease.
Why would you break down and cry? So serious, meh? If you need to talk about it, I am always ready to listen. Sometimes talking and getting it off your chest will help you feel better about the situation.
But I think you are okay already la, as you are showing some laughter in your discussion. Haha! Good, very good!

While sitting in my office, I was thinking, "aiyah, it's time for me to see my client. Better don't waste this kind of time in the office and replying on this. Out of sudden, you appeared and I said to myself, luckily you appear!" LOL
See how lucky I am. hehehe~
Yeah, I should have thought of this, but Im afraid I will break down and cry...Sigh~~ how come I feel this way? Hmmm...I hope to break through my figure. I hope, I can do it while my others colleagues are doing it.

Aarrgghh...You are being unproductive at that! You better move up and do some simple exercises to stimulate your body into moving. Whenever I wake up in the morning I always do simple movements and stretchings. It really helps to keep you awake and prevents you from returning into bed. Also, go get a hot drink to move the fluids inside your body. Heat can really excite the molecules in your body and move them to keep you moving too! For the motivation, try to think that it would be your last day to live.

Wow! Running is good! That'll keep your body busy moving. You can also try doing warm ups first after waking up. Then jog a little, then proceed to running. I am sure that it can invigorate your body to move. To add to your motivation try setting up jogging sessions with your friends or family members. That would be a great motivational tool for you to keep moving!

I hope you are feeling better soon. Don't let a bad client take away your life. They chose to handle it in such a fashion, let them drink their poison cup. Take some deep, slow breaths and breath out the negative energy, and when you breathe in, take in the positive.
God bless!

The main capital for you is a FAITH.
example: you want to play, your opponent your opponent's ability on you. Normally people would look down on your opponent's abilities. But with your belief that you can beat your opponent, If today you do not beat him, I assure myself, that one day the future you will be able to defeat him. Because in fact, your ability on how much faith you have.

Hi jacklintan!
Walk, jog then eat a lot of fruits and vegestables, balanced diet at least, hydrate yourself with fruits juices but more on water, make yourself sweaty! Then take a shower. Think of a good plan for the day, or maybe off from work?

I feel that way every now and then, too. I recently resigned from my job so I could go after my bigger dream. But what happened is that bigger dream of mine just seems so far away and I couldn't reach it. :( Haha! So I'm currently stuck at home usually doing nothing but to go online. I was so bummed. I was losing all my motivation to be productive. But when I started using myLot, somehow I started feeling productive even I'm just staying home sitting all day in front of my computer. Because I know that I'm not just myLotting to earn, but I'm also being able to voice out my opinions and thoughts, and share interesting discussions with other people from all over the world. Somehow it motivates me. Somehow I feel productive. :)
If you really need positive energy, I suggest you try going out with some friends you haven't seen in a long time. I'm sure you guys would have so much to talk about, and you can gain motivation from them. :)

A good amount of this lack of energy that you are feeling is probably coming from over-sleeping. Sometimes when we get over-tired we sleep more than normal in an attempt to catch up on our sleep. The problem with that is that you can't catch up on missed sleep. When you sleep too much then you just get groggy and lack energy and motivation. Your metabolism slows to a crawl. You need some fresh air and exercise. Take a shower, eat a healthy breakfast and go for a walk. Or you could put on some music and dance to boost your metabolism. Once you are back to normal then you need something to keep you motivated. Only you can answer that one. It could be a project or a job to finish...anything.

Sidd, thanks for your idea. I guess I have found out the reasons why I was so lack of energy. I just need more faith and happiness.
Thanks .

Hi Jackie,
Go outside, walk around, go swimming and or have some fun. How's that for motivation. lol
Kidding aside, you probably overslept a bit. Try something different. Sometimes being indoors for a lengthy time sort of depresses us. Not that you are depressed but maybe you just need to get out a bit.
If I was there, we could have gone out on the town. Okay, did I at least bring a small chuckle there.

Sometimes the heat takes a toll on us and drains our energy and sometimes we just feel tired for no reason. Maybe you need a vitamin or something, maybe your body is lacking something. I know in my case, when I hit 45, I started to slow down, I did not like it, but it's nature at work. I do try to be as active as I can so I can keep the blood flowing.

Initially, I was feeling the same like you did. Then, I started my flaxseed oil, omega 3 and 6, calcium pills plus, some healthy drinks.
There on, I also make a habit to exercise.
I was feeling spiritually exhausted. That's all.

YOu just need to think of the ones that inspires you. For example, think about your mother, father, loved ones. For sure, it will help you to get you blood rolling.

You should spend time with your family and friends, do something fun that you really enjoy. Spending time with my family helps me to feel better when i'm down. If you spend time with positive people that can encourage you. Negative people will make you feel worse.

Just try to identify your loss of motivation..? Are you eating right, drinking plenty of water?
Go for a nice refreshing walk if you feel that way again.. see it that helps? (",)
Or maybe if this persists you should see your doctor..just for a check up..
Hope you feel better soon jacklintan..

Well, sometimes there can be times due to our busy lifestyle that our body might decide it wants to shut down and not think, and all we want to do is sleep. If I would not have to get up and get ready to go to work, today could have been one of those days easily for me. I kept on hitting snooze even. Personally I think motivation is something that only you can do, and you need to find something that will interest you, like being here in myLot and have Fun.

You should do some physical activities. If can not force yourself to do it, then just try simple things like meditation or breathing exercise, and after that you should feel motivated to do other things.

I need more confidence in things that I do. My confidence level just diminished when things didn't turn out right. I should learnt to face my own fear.
Sigh~~ where is my bravery? Thanks for dropping by. HUGS x
