Does it mean anything if a guy asks if you're dating?

As for the response to you, I would have to say tread carefully. He may just be interested because of hte type of work you do, who is to say? It's never good to date a boss.

It really depends unless your boss asks you for a date so that means something already.But maybe he might be interested in you so just be careful in going in dates so that you will not be risking yourself in danger.Just make sure you are also interested with that person you are dating with so that you will not be wasting your time and effort.

Probably. If a guy does not care about a girl in the romantic sense, why would he be concerned about her love life? If he is not attracted he should care about who is dating her. If he has an interested then of course he will want to know if she is available or not. :)

It doesn't necessarily mean to be that way. Guys may ask anything under the sun to girls with any deeper intention. It is only the girl who gives meaning to every words and actions a guy shows and utters. There are many reasons as to why a guy would ask a girl about her dating status. He might want to build a relationship as a friend so by learning if the girl is seeing someone, he will have an idea how to limit his actions toward the girl. Secondly, there is nothing to talk about so he just ask that. Guys act liberality. They say what is in their mind. It's on the guy himself to ask if he is really interested on the girl. Girls sometimes act overrated.
