The New Facebook Chat is really stupid

For the past three days,facebook has introduced a new facebook window.It is really stupid.It doesn't show all the people who all are online.It has only list of people with whom had communicated frequently.Onle in the left side of thw window we can see the list of freinds in chat.
What do you think??

Facebook is loosing its shine.so they try to improve it and do all stupid thing.the first chat was quit gud.bcoz we can find all the online friend.but don.t know whats running in marks mind?

I agree with you a 100%, i hate that new chat that they have now.I remember i could see all of my friends that are online, now am only seeing people who are offline an a few that i talk with.
It is stupid , i rather the old chat and message system.The more they change the more it get boring,I wish they could put back the first chat an message system.

It was better with the old chat,I don't why they change it.Now they have this video chat,that slow down people computer whenever they start to use it.Facebook is loosing it touch,and members as well.
I hate the new window,if i send someone a message then it appears in my inbox why?
A lot of people are complaining about the new chat system and the video call.

yeah i noticed something about the Facebook chat..at first i thought it was confusing. also i don't like the list of active statuses scrolling on the right side of the facebook, where the chat is..lol

The main drawback with that window is that it do not show all the friends who are all online...and also includes the name of friends who are offline..

Yes this really stupid!! list all people at facebook chat, really make me hard to looking for someone who are online now. I need type the friend name to search they are available or not. Make me really waste time and no mood. Show at left hand side also make me waste my space. I hope facebook will change to old version.

yes it is certainly...the earlier one was simple and good...that use to show all the friends name who are online...but in this it only shows up with whom you have been frequently chatting..i really didint liked this one as much as i did the earlier one...even all my friends ..not just friends its with most of the people ..all of them thinks that the earlier one was better one..!

Hello there,
I heard just the other day that Facebook was about to introduce video chat in the next few weeks.
Maybe the chat system you are speaking about is just a slow shift to the new video chat system. Maybe they are just testing new software etc.
We can only wait and see what happens.

I don't use Facebook for live chat (I have my IM software for that), so the moment they introduced the new feature I went offline and disabled the window, so it doesn't even show up. I think it's good that they don't show all people who are online, but only people you're friends with. Personally I would hate it iof strangers started to chat with me just because I"m online. I'm on Facebook to get in touch with people I actually know.

Hi Deepakcool, This is what i was wondering for few days now. I really dont understand what its showing online and i thought if it was my browser issue. LOL. I really dont find it user friendly. I find old chat is cool and comfortable.

ohh, yeah it so stupid. it make more unconfortable to use the chat box. hope that they will bring back the old chat box.
