Interracial relationships

Interracial relationships are common these days as people are becoming more accepting towards other cultures than their own. I see more and more interracial couples walking hand in hand in the street these days. I have a question that's bugging my mind though. Why is it that white guy and Asian girl couples are more common than the other way around? I rarely find a couple made up of an Asian man and a white woman.
