More game's on the Mac

i am a mac user for 5 years after wasting 10 on windows, i must say the available to mac are a handful compared to those for windows. i would love call of duty world at war on mac or GTA or maybe even home front. I have tried turning my mac into a windows ( don't ever try it!!! ruins your mac and makes it so slow) i have recently come across a blog which advertises porting games to mac, i have never heard of this anyone know what it is?

Have you ever tried using Steam? Steam is a software that distributes games for both Mac and PC. There's over 1,300 games available for purchase through Steam as of July 2011. I have it on my PC - I recommend it.
