hello very important clue/help -- Take water in a big cup or vessel and put two three camphor bits inside that and put it in a corner of your room. You will be surprised to see that the mosquitoes run away or do not come because they cannot stand more smell. Remember to be put initially one or two only so that you can get use to it. try and report back . best wishes

We also watch out for mosquitoes because we have a baby in our house. What I do is put a few drops of citronella oil and some water in an atomizer and spray it around the bedroom. I also spray some of it on our baby's exposed skin so that she would not be bothered by mosquitoes.

You probably one of those mosquito killer electronic device or something like that. The mosquito problem won't just stop as the season turn to summer. So, besides make sure the sanitation is clean, you should also consider set up those mosquito killing device around the house to ease up the problem.

I think the most effective way to deal with mosquito problem is to install mosquito nets to your bed. You can sleep soundly inside the nets while the mosquitoes are flying around outside the nets hungry not getting any of your blood.
I used to have the same problem because I live in a hot tropical country. I tried using electric mosquito zapper but it's no use because no matter how many mosquitoes you kill more of them will come sucking your blood. Your time is wasted killing the bugs instead of resting/sleeping. But after I installed the bed nets on my bed I don't have that problem anymore.

I read on a website about frogs , that frogs and lizzards are good to have where there are much mosquitoes. How about a pond for the frogs to eliminate your quatity of mosquitoes. I think it is at least a good enviromental action. Then I guess mosquito nets are necessary. I wish you all the very best.

Yes friend I think you are right because in our home lots of lizzards so lots of mosquitoes. Mosquito net is necessary but it is costly for every person because in 3 rooms its required for our all family members because in every room lots of mosquitoes.

Hi there. I dont know how to get rid of them. I know they have sprays and bug candles that you can burn. They are supposed to help. Back in my home state there was always a big problem with mosquitos. The state im living now there was never a big problem with them but this year there are many here too. The waters are high in the rivers and streams. And its raining almost every night. I was getting eaten up alive everytime i go outside at night. A few have made their way into the house. I cant prevent them from following me in the door but make sure windows and doors are covered with screen.

Here we have screens in our windows so mosquitoes won't get in and if they do we use fly spry to get rid of them...and also we use mosquitoes coils which have a particular smell mosquitoes don't like...and for out doors we use citronella candles or oil and that keep the little beasts at bay if we are having an out side dinner in summer time!

At the mention of the mosquito,I think of terrible malaria, epidemic encephalitis, etc.Over here we are in rainy season too, everything gets damp.It is just the time when the mosquitoes are rampant. If we don't turn on air-conditioning,we usually light mosquito-repellent incense.Recently, we bought a sort of mosquito net ,which is different from ordinary one, fixed on the door likes the door curtain rather than on the bed .It consists of two pieces with magnetic bar at each piece,so It can close by itself after lifting it.

Hi AG
It is a liquid form of mosquito repellent. You just need to plug it into an electrical socket and let it run the whole night while you are sleeping. And you can switch it off during the day. It can be used for 60 days.
Yes, the cream is very expensive and I think it is harmless to your skin. I don't really know as I have never tried it.

What's a liquid mosquito vaporizer? never heard of that one until now. Maybe I'll be needing that kind of product. I also thought of smooching myself with mosquito repellent creams. However, I am concerned of its effects on the skin when you are too much exposed to it. Also, I do find them quite expensive. Haha!

Same problem here! Those mosquitoes are really annoying especially if you are trying to sleep! I really hate them whenever they patrol in my ears or bites up every exposed part of my body. I usually wear my pajamas to fend them off my lower body parts but they usually find a way to get through the exposed parts like the feet and the face. They really are irritating. As damage control against them I usually spray mosquito killer spray a couple of hours earlier before I go to sleep. But still, they are so many especially that I am living near a grassy farmland. They become more annoying once the rainy season comes in. Oh, how i wish I would be spared by them?

Yep! I'll be trying to look for in nearby stores. I can't help getting annoyed by those mosquitoes during this rainy season. Very irritating indeed! Maybe you can suggest some good brands of insect repellents that you use to save me the time in choosing which one to buy.

We have a lot of trees around our house and the mosquitos start coming out and biting everyone around 6pm so thats when we make sure to go inside. I keep the doors closed and the windows have screens so we never get mosquitos in our house. Recently there was a flood and after that there were so many mosquitos we could go out in broad day light and we were getting bit up by mosquitos so bad it was awful. I guess it was so bad they went over with planes and let off stuff to kill the mosquitos because they were worried about west nile virus again.

Hi there! The easiest solution for me: if possible, get some special mosquito nets and put them on all of your windows. Mosquitoes will not be able to enter your house. Works perfectly for me! If there are still few of them, who made it through, I kill them before going to sleep so I can sleep in peace!

There are many ways of killing the mosquitoes.
The most effective and the convenient is the mosquitoes black hole.
I do have one at home. This is the link showing the similar product:

hello surekharathi,
Make sure there are no place for the mosquitoes to lay eggs like unused tires, cans, barrels etc. make sure that the drainage is clean so there is no stagnant water also the roof gutter where those mosquitoes can possibly lay eggs.
You can plant eucalyptus plant/tree mosquitoes hates it
happy mylotting

You can buy the mosquito killer lamp something. Haha. The purple light of the lamp attracts mosquitoes and kills/electrifies them. Or if they're still around, at least cover yourself with a blanket while sleeping. Or buy a mosquito repellant lotion/spray.
