My recent lack of cash has caused me to have to cycle to work. It has inadvertently made me realize how unfit I am. So I have made the decision to work out more and tone up and (however cliched this sounds) get the body that I want to have.
I've always joke that real man don't have a six pack the have a keg. But I don't really want a keg.
So do you have any advice that would help me out?

Stay hydrated, and do not overdo it to start with. I am working on about ten years of unfitness. I am needing more cash and more fitness myself.

hi marxistmind just be consistent in riding y our bike as it will help to build up strong muscles. I have no idea about the six pack but I know my 52 year old son because for the same reason as you is using his cyle to get back and forth too. He had a little paunch on him before but its been trimmed up now os he looks more fit. I do not know about that famous six pack but he has lost that little pot belly I teased him about. So thats one up for being fit. lol

Hello,
it's great that you want to change yourself and you are really doing something about it.
You have a great start. Riding a bicycle is a great workout for you and your body. Especially if you intergrate it in your life.
For toning up your body and for loosing weight you can try running/jogging.
And the best part of it is that you don't have to give any money for it.
But you should know that it's not so easy as it looks like. Acctually running might be the most exhausting cardio exercise.
So you can do something like this: 2minutes running - 1 minute walking. And you repet that many times, as long as you can.
When you have some cash you can go to the gym. There you will find various ways of keeping yourself in shape.
I wish you all the best, keep training.
