Aha! Google beats Facebook on Alexa Traffic Ratings

Alexa is a web information company that will show how popular a site is based on reach, pageviews and more. This is one of the best way to size up your ratings and competitions on the web.
And behold! I found out that Facebooks ranks only at # 2, Google is at #1.
I have listed the Top 10 (don't we love Top 10s). Check out http://www.alexa.com/topsites if you would like to see the Top 500 sites.

YUP there's no way but up.
I think it's pretty tough to be on the top three. Not sure what Baidu.com or QQ.com do but I think everyone is pretty familiar on the top three.

Baidu.com is the leading search engine but its set on Chinese language.
QQ.com is another Chinese internet service portal.
Imagine, 2 spots for China. Cool, huh?
And to think that social networking is banned in their country (don't ask me why, Bart gave me that "secret" information) haha :)

What is alexa for actually ? is it decide whether the site is good or what ? Or it just a ranking site ?
