So what's the difference between this and Eric Holder's botched "Fast & Furious?

Eddie Espinoza, the ousted mayor of Columbus, NM pleaded guilty to charges from his arrest for using his position to facilitate smuggling of guns across the US/Mexico border. But isn't that exactly what was done in Eric Holder's (and possibly Prs. Obama) bothced "Fast & Furious" operation? So why do Obama supporters defend Holder, or even deny anything wrong even happened? It's time for an in depth investigation into the running of guns across the border by our Dept. of "Justice"! Not a "9/11 commission" investigation, but a real one, that leads to indictments of those responsible!! http://news.yahoo.com/ex-mayor-n-m-border-town-pleads-guilty-235956793.html

The difference is that the Mayor knew it was going on. AG Holder and President Obama did not know what was happening. It seems that no one in Washington or in the Government knew what was going on. The fact that it received funding and possibly from the Stimulus shows the people that this administration has no clue as to what is going on. All the President can do is talk about an idea but not give any specific program. In this case either he knew and choose to approve or ignore it OR he and his administration have no clue what is going on and how the money is being spent.

Both the ATF and DOJ not only knew about it, but the DOJ told, in essence, for ATF that "nothing wrong" was done.
