I do think that television will always be around for some time but the Internet has allowed people to catch their favorite television shows by any means both legally or otherwise. Even the problem of the smaller screens have been solved, as you can now hook up your computer to your television with specialized technology and watch it there. In many ways, I think television is trying to meet the needs of people better to compete with the Internet, with many Networks and Cable Companies offering Video on Demand services, where you can catch your favorite programs if you missed it. Before television, there was the radio and the Internet is really rushing ahead of television. I seem to be watching less things on the actual television with each passing year, some of it due to me having less programs that I am inspired to watch granted, but I doubt I'm the only one.

I think people don't worry too much about television anymore because television is not that great. Internet gives people a whole bunch of stuff to do.

Indeed, while there is some stuff to watch on Television, the overall quality has really taken a massive hit. It did seem to be slowly going down in quality since the late 1990s, even if it was not obvious at first. There does seem to be numerous hits for sure and somehow with more networks there seems to be less on. Oversaturation is a killer. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

hi megamatt.
i don't think the internet has made television less relevant. in fact, i think both mediums have worked well together. television enhancing the internet experience and vice-versa.

I can see your point for sure. There are going to be a lot of supporters who will be more in tune with television than the Internet. Yet the Internet has allowed television networks to make their programming schedules to be more accessible and that has to be some kind of victory. Then again the Internet has helped television in many ways, it has also replaced it in many other ways. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

I do think that there are some people, a good chunk of people who really do continue to watch shows on television at the time they air. Many people through various means however do not. Then again, there are still a chunk of people who I know that have just gotten rid of their television, due to the fact there weren't enough shows that they liked and I'm sure that's true for some but that's a problem with oversaturation of certain genres, then the Internet. Still back to the topic at hand, I guess it really does depend on your personal preferences more than anything. There are some people who think that actual books are something that is outdated, but I and many others still read them. The same thing with listening to music on the radio as opposed to other mediums. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Indeed they can work rather together. However the state of the game has changed in a big way. Then again there may come a time where there is something beyond the Internet that makes the Internet look beyond the times. Hard to believe, but there was a time before that television was hard to believe and that radio was hard to believe and that the Internet is hard to believe. Still some people prefer their way, that's why actual print media will always be around to an extent. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

Television and internet are two different medium of mass communication they are not related to each other intricately but very loosely .Televisin provides us entertainment at the cheapest rates which makes it quite economical and now a days cable networking and satellite TV networking has completely revolutinised the television experience and has given new dimension to TV viewing .
On the other hand , Internet technology has penetrated every household and every nook and corner of the world turning whole world in to a CYBER VILLAGE .But still high speed internet as compared to television is quite costly in most of countries and secondly cyber world is prone to a lot of technical difficulties and security threats which is not he case in TELEVISION .

Again some points. Of course, it did take some time for television to be fine tuned to what it is on this day in time. Therefore, the Internet is really catching fire over the last day, much like television did all of those years, but there are a lot of time where there are some times in the world. The television still has and will have for some time many uses, but the Internet has replaced it as the main medium of Entertainment in some corners in the world, where television is still king in many respects. Who really does know what the future holds. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.
