Insomnia... Help?

It's currently 1:30AM and I'm still myLotting. I've been like this for 5 days now. I couldn't sleep. I slept at 4AM for the past couple of days and it's not healthy anymore. I sleep at 4 and wake up at 12 noon. Half of my day is already gone. I should really sleep earlier to have a more productive day. Can someone help me with the insomnia I'm having? What do you guys do to fall asleep soundly? Sometimes, when I try too hard to fall asleep, my head aches. And when I wake up, it would feel like I was half-awake all the time.

Try to research about banana. Some experts say eating one before going to bed helps one to go to sleep.

Inhaling Sweet Basil (Ocimum Basilicum) leaves can also relax you and induce you to sleep. All varieties of Basil are mildly sedative. You can buy potted Basil at any organic store in Metro Manila.

HI PP! That is not an insomnia my dear friend. Your body just get adjusted to what you want it to be. Like me thank god I can get to my sleeping time back without any problem and I can sleep any time I like as there will be no problem my body will get adjusted to any time I want. Since music and reading will still make me stay awake I will do this anytime I found I can't sleep. Make sure that you empty your mind. Don't think of anything. Just go blank. Many says they can't sleep because the brain can't stop thinking. For the sake of your body and your sleep hour please stop thinking of anything. You can control that. it is yourself, you force yourself to think if you said the brain can't stop doing that. No, you can control that. Since it difficult for you to get back your sleep hour you should start it back slowly. It is hard to build than ruin things right?? So once you get back your sleep hour like 12-8a.m then stick to it. Don't try to go to sleep later than that. (^^)

Try to avoid drinking the coffee or tea, especially in the evening. As I think this drink can make you awake. Besides, having proper exercises everyday as a suitable sports will make you sleep easily at night. You can also have a bath before going to bed. It will make you relax and I hope your insomnia will be gone. I love China

I know it sounds strange, but this is only a matter of custom, I believe. I am used to get in the bed at late hours, something around 1.00-2.00 AM, and I sleep a lot. But if I know that I have something important to do the next morning, then I go to sleep earlier and I am able to wake up. Whenever I have troubles getting asleep, I try to empty my mind and start counting sheep. It is a bit childish, but it works all the time, I never remember how many I count.

you actually don't have any insomnia.insomnia is a feeling of discomfort that results to difficulty in falling or staying at sleep.just drink water 30 minutes before the time that you need to be asleep. make sure you help your body go back to what the normal sleep of a person, don't go beyond 12am or 1 am.1-4 am are the crucial time that the temperature, pressure changes.your body might not adapt the change that's why you feel you have an insomnia.

You don't have insomnia and you don't need meds. You just need to stop getting caught up in the computer and other stuff... and go to bed! Sleeping 4-12, you're still getting your 8 hours' sleep, but you're missing the natural part of the night (between 1 and 3 in the morning is important, if I remember correctly, for deep sleep). All you need to do is get back on a normal sleep schedule and the rest will take care of itself. Send yourself off to bed at a normal hour. Do something relaxing before going to bed (no, MyLotting is not relaxing). It'll be hard to sleep the first night or two while your body adjusts back to normal hours, but it shouldn't take long. If you have trouble sleeping, breathe regularly. That feeds more carbon dioxide to the muscles and convinces your body to sleep, no matter how active your brain is.

I ever experienced your kind of sleepless problem when i was young. I like to revise my studies from late at night until the wee of hours. I learned and take charge of my life by slowly de-stress myself. I slowly learn to de-stress myself by listening to light music. It is a wonder to me as i can fall asleep easily from that day onwards.

When you're awake, drink a cup of coffee. That will wake you up some more. When it's time for you to sleep, go to sleep and don't worry about anything else.

i usually drink a hot milk since it contains L-tryptophan that enhances sleep. of course, you have to shut down your computer at an earlier time to avoid the urge to stay awake.

to this meeting and I know how. Sometimes you want to sleep but can not. Do your work, so you get both. We need to rest a while and forget about the many jobs we have. Have a nice day!

I also suffer from insomnia every once in a while. What I usually do is take ferrous sulfate and drink a glass of milk before going to bed and clear my mind from any unnecessary thoughts. I find it effective, though. Perhaps, you should limit your time using mylot especially at night. Try to drink milk also. I hope you could have a good night sleep. :)

Put the computer down, and step back! I guess that's the first step, to stop myLotting. If there is nothing you can do tonight, then just try to sleep. When you wake up tomorrow, just do something strenous. Get yourself physically tired so as you could sleep earlier tomorrow, and re-adjust your sleeping hours.
