When did your child cut their first tooth?

My daughter is now 5 months old and she's been teething for 3 months, but nothing so far. She's starting to hit the really cranky stage the past couple of days where her gums are really bothering her. I can't tell if there's anything coming in, but my mother thinks that a bottom tooth is starting to. So I was wondering when did your child(ren) cut their first tooth? Did they at least get less cranky after they did? Lol. Please share your experience and any advice would be lovely. We give her cold teethers and baby orajel or baby pain killer only if she's extremely fussy and we can't get her to settle down any other way.
