I have neighbours which I haven`t seen for two year. There is a house next to ours, where lives an old women. But another nieghbour told me once, there are to other people living in this house. And I have never seen them because they spend their time in front of a computer! It sounds radiculous!DO you think internet will displace real human contact?Isn`t it scare?

Yup it's a bit weird. However computer or internet addiction is a common phenomenon in this time. Kids nowadays prefer to dominate their cyber space instead of playing outdoor games. Such practice can result into complete detachment from society. Though I spend quite an amount of time on my computer, getting socially detached is not something I would prefer.

Yes,I also prefer meeting my friends in a bar not in internet. When I was child there was much noise around ,because of childrens games outside. Now it is very quite!

Yeah it's like the whole generation has shifted towards computers and consoles. Don't know if it's good or bad doesn't look so good only time will tell.

Replace it completely, no. Put a dent in it yes. The internet can be idicting and while I don't believe it could ever replace real human contact, it can be dangerous for those who are adicted. Those are the type you've botta watch out for. Those neighbors you're talking about sound addicted. Not uncommon. The internet can draw you in. I at least know how to take a break. I'm on a few hours a night at best, which is quite normal and there is nothint wrong with that. At least I'm doing something productive and not sitting there playing games on face book, or worried about what's going on online all the time. I've got e-mail waiting on me, and I've yet to reply... if that tells you anything.

I really don't think it will. WE still need to go outside our relms to get food etc...so there will always be a human connection. I do think though some people spend way too much time on them...and worry with all the video games etc the kids might get caught up in all things being done for them and they having a hard time using their imaginations!
