As I've said in my prior discussion that I came from a vacation. I went to the beach so my complexion is bronze now haha. Here in my country wherein most of the population has dark skin. But a lot also want to have fair skin so they use a lot of those whitening stuff to make their skin fair. If you will ask me, I prefer dark skin or what we call "morena" here in our country. That's why I often go to the beach to have a nice tan and then it becomes bronze after a while. I have permanent tan lines on my body. Well I've noticed when I was walking along the shore, peoples head turn, and I get confused. Most of them are foreigners, so I thought maybe its my skin color. Because in their case, even if they sleep under the sun, nothing happens to their skin. It just gets a little reddish. What about you guys? Dark or fair skin, which do you prefer?

Hi, there!
How's your vacation? :) Well, naturally, I have a fair skin. I think, If I would be born again and gets to choose what skin color I want to have, I would choose to have a fair skin. I just don't like morena color. Maybe I'm just used to seeing my body with a fair complexion.
A lot of people here in the Philippines uses various kinds of skin whitening just to get a fair complexion. I'm glad you liked your skin color. Tc.

I don't really care what color other people's skin are, but for myself, I prefer fair skin. I don't like to be tan.

I like white men. I always give them a second glance whenever i see one. But for my own self, i love my dark skin. When i was a kid i was ashamed of it since people around me defines beauty according to the color of the skin which was white. When i was in college though, things changed. Women with dark skin were slowly being commented and adored.
Foreign people always told me how attractive and beautiful i am, and i think it's because of my color. I love the way skin looks, i don't desire to have that fair or mestiza looking skin. I do love the sun and don't mind spending hours under it.

I have a fair skin. My moms fiance was a foreigner and he always says to me that i need a little sun. But even if i want to go sunbathing i cant, cause going under the sun makes my skin go red and dry and it hurts even if i put sunscreen. I prefer to have a healthy tan though.

Morena is always beautiful.. It is more appealing and attractive. In our country, that is what a woman's true color should be..

I like all colors of skin. I think it is interesting to have people with all different sorts of skin. Usually people get the skin type of his or her parents. In my home country it is very multicultural so many different skin colors exist here. I have got white skin, dark brown hair and green eyes. When I traveled around the world I was away for just over a year. I kept a lovely tan all the way through that lovely trip. I have to be careful not to burn or I just get red skin. In a matter of a few days in that case my skin peels. I can get a nice tan but it soon fades once I get home again. I wear a high factor sun cream to guard against getting skin cancer.

Don't dismiss the fact that heads are turning because you are simply attractive!
My tan never seems to get too dark, but I've never been "fair" skinned either. I generally dislike people who put others down because of how tanned they are, and usually I hear comments about how pale people are and how they need more sun, more than the other way around. I know some people don't tan well and even burn easily so it would not make sense for them to go tanning. It also is dangerous being in direct sunlight too long, even with tanning lotion or protectives!
Be careful out in the sun, Starfish!

I suppose I prefer a HEALTHY tan. I say healthy because some people can go really overboard with it and that just isn't attractive to me.

I would like to be in the middle. I'd like skin that is not too light or dark. But no matter what color of skin we have, the most important thing to keep it looking attractive is to keep it healthy. Just be careful of going out too much under the sun because it can lead to diseases caused by the harmful UV rays.
