Exclusively Breast feeding?

Hi mommies, I just want to know if you've done EBF for your babies and how did you do that without fear of having a need for formula? I am exclusively breast feeding my baby for almost a week now, i still have formula because i'm afraid that i might be needing it. Then, one day i noticed the label on the formula that once its opened, it must be consumed within three weeks. So, i don't know what to do now, i want to EBF my baby but afraid of not having a formula as a back up. Any advice? Thanks in advance. :)
