Do you have one yearly vacation destination?

Do you have one place or location where you vacation/visit every year? Or do you choose randomly based on the attractions? Maybe you don't vacation every year... or stay closer to home.

I go to Cabo San Lucas in Mexico every year. I go for two weeks to swim on the beach, go zip lining, and ATVing with family and friends.

My first cruise was with a girlfriend and my son. We went to Peurto Valarte, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. I remember going to a tour that took us to see all these cactuses and plants. It was really beautiful and awesome. As we were waking on the ship and coming to port in Cabo I remember hearing the seals barking on an island. So we had tea and coffee out on the balcony and enjoyed seeing the beautiful waters. thanks for the memories! We took our cruise there in 2006.

I have also been to Puerto Vallarta, it is very beautiful, especially in the wet season. If you go zip lining through the trees there are some great sites.

I don't go on many vacations. I am just not a vacationer, I can relax by just taking a drive out in the country or hanging out with friends, I even relax a bit by spending or reading. However, I also don't have the money to go on a vacation very often either. If I was to go on vacations it'd be one year the beach, the next year the mountains, and most likely that is how it'd alwyays be. I didn't go on vacations as a child so I don't feel as if I am missing out on anything. I save money by not going on vacations as well, though I do like day or weekendcations, ya know the weekend stay over in a cabin, those are fun.

I always made sure we had family time with the kids. My husband and I got into boating. So that became our weekend excursions. Not much money just pull up to a sandbar with sodas and roasting hotdogs and marshmallows. We moved up from a 15 ft boat to a 2155 to a 2855 and finally got a 41 ft houseboat. We did not leave the dock much price of gas but the children knew they could fish, swim, paddleboat, and we did usually take one boat ride over the weekend. So my children all 5 all knew what it was to spend family time together. I am greatful to have given them that time.

I go to different places. I like to see uniquely beautiful places in countries in different parts of the world. It is also so interesting to see and learn about the traditional cultures of the places. This year, I may go to Bangkok, Thailand, a "Land of Smiles".

I don't take an official vacation every year. But, I do a lot of day trips and things with the kids and work. I could probably use a real vacay, but they take so much planning and money.

Holy Land - Dream Destination
We do make it a point to have a yearly vacation because that is the only way we can really relax and unwind after a whole year of hard work. Mostly we only visit local places around our country because there are so many beautiful places here anyway. But next time around we are planning to visit the Holy Land. It is a dream place for me and I am already saving some money for the fulfillment of this dream.

For the last four years my vacation destination has been Indiana. We got there to visit my b/f's family. Before that it was random. Usually a beach. I did visit the closer one more which is Myrtle beach..but I really like the ones in Florida. I have been thinking alot about Virginia Beach. I have a couple of friends that went there and loved it. Too be honest..with as much that has been going on with me...staying home an vegging out sounds just as nice as a beach trip to me right now..lol.

We don't have the opportunity to vacation on an annual basis, but there are certain things that we try to do around here every year. We try to always make it to the zoo every year and also go to Cincinnati for a day to do something, like a Red's game or the aquarium in Newport. When we actually have the opportunity to take a regular vacation, we try to choose to do something that the children have never had the opportunity to do, we've been to Atlanta, Phoenix and Miami in the nine years that we've been together.
