I just graduated college, got my Bachelors degree in Nursing and now I face crossroads on to which path would i truly pursue. I know somehow i need to plan a good future for me and my girlfriend but I'm just not quite sure as to which road I must follow to get there. For the most your opinions guys, Which would you think is much better? Follow the career you went to college with or put some money on capitalizing a business of your own?

It really depends on what you want to do in life. If you really love your course and field of study, then I guess go for it. If you really want doing business and managing it, then carve a path to it. You can always mix both of them too. A little of everything won't hurt either. But of course, what you are happy doing will turn out to be the most thing that you will put your time and effort too. I suggest to reflect first on what you really want to do and move in that direction.

If you have the money to start a business then why not. Good for you at least you have the capital. You should not also close your door if there is an opportunity for you to work which is related to your course.
It depends on you as long as you can earn money, and if you are satisfied with what you do. At first I started a career that is related to my course, I wasn't that happy because its routinary. I ventured into a business but it didn't last long because I was renting so most of my earnings would be summoned only through rents so I still needed to work hard.
But if in time I can have the money and wont need to rent I would still pursue to do business and I would be happy for it since it is still related to what I studied.

I think it has to be a little of both.
It happened to me as well, I got a degree, was working in different areas before that. But that is not necessarily the point, if you have the initiative to start a business of your own, go ahead, if it's not related to your carreer, doesn't matter.
In the end, your decision is what counts either if it's regarding your financial future or your dream job. If you can have both then you should be ready to go.
Good luck.
