Now that the announcement has been made that the online distribution company, Prospect Park, has purchased the rights to both All My Children and One Life to Live, will you be watching either show?
Both shows will be available online only. I don't usually watch shows on my computer and I don't think I'll make an exception for AMC and OLTL.
I'm anxious to see if ABC continues with their plans for both shows and ends them properly or if they abandon those plans and leave us hanging.
I wonder about the actors and actresses who came back for a one off, only to find the story will continue online!
I know for sure I will definitely not be watching "The Chew"! What a horrible name for a show! We certainly don't need yet another food show and ABC really showed all of us how unoriginal and unimaginative they are when they decided to pull AMC & OLTL and replace it with a stupid food show.

That is really good news. I was so upset when I heard that they were taking them off the air. I have been watching All My Children since I was 16 years old and in recent years have come to love One Life to Live as well. I am glad to hear there will be a way to still see them and I will certainly watch both of them. Thank you for letting us know about this.

No problem, happy to be of service. :)
Unfortunately right now I have no idea what the website is where these web episodes are going to be. I'm sure they'll make an announcement closer to the end of the series on ABC. I will try to remember to post it here.

I do not like that All My Children will continue online what if some people do not have internet then they will not be able to watch it. I am so sick of the network for doing this they are not only taking 2 good soaps off tv but some other good shows as well.

It is hard to tell if I will watch or not. They would have to be free and preferably available at the watcher's convenience rather than some specific and bad time. I was wondering myself how this deal would affect whether they would have some kind of comprehensive wrap up of the story lines or if they would just be ongoing. The food show sounds very bad and I certainly won't watch it.

Oh I completely agree! I won't be able to watch it if it isn't free & available at the watcher's convenience.

"The Chew",What a dumb name for a show. And to replace my favorite daytime shows with a food show
I have been watching both "All My Children" and "One Life To Live" since the early '70's.So has millions of other people, both men and women.ABC discission makers have lost their minds.
Personally,I watch the shows while I am getting some work done online. Now that won't be possible..And I don't even know how to get television on my computer. And my computer is very old.
On ABC,I like the show "Castle".I first started watching it because Nathan Fillion is in it.But,I really grew to like the show.I like "Extreme Home Makeover".Sometimes I watch "The Bachelor and Bachelorette" and "Dancing With The Stares",but they are not a necessity. However during the daytime that leaves General Hospital, but that is not as good as it used to be.I only watch it when I have nothing else to do or it has a great storyline going on,which is not too often anymore.
