Day 3 of Helpin my Dad

So today is Day 3 and my dad is so sick of drinking so much water. Main reason cause he get's up a lot thru out the night because of it. So to motivate him further I told him when he wants to stop drinking water and give up I want him to look at his grandson and tell him He's not Worth it. He just gave me a look and I handed him some water. He drank the water.
I know it was maybe rude of me to say that or maybe I need to be harsh sometimes to keep him going. I just want to show him his decisions are gonna affect the ones he loves in his life.

It's tough lovin', and I think if it works, you should continue doing it. An appeal to his senses that it's not only for him, but also for his grandson. So that they could share a lot more healthy days together.
