Does Pay To Click really work?

I found this website and knew about the Pay To Click system. Pay to click is a system wherein you will just need to click a certain advertisement then you will earn from that. What i did was i tried to register in those links and found my self hooked into it not knowing if its really true or not. i created maybe at least 5 accounts in different links and my balance where increasing after i click each advertisement. i can collect my $ every minimum of 10$ cash out. so far i earned $0.02, i started yesterday. Is this really true? please tell me if its not so i can stop doing it :)
