well, I'm kinda new here in mylot and they were saying that I need to post a lot to earn. So, I'm just curious if how long would it get to reach the payout? Can anybody here share me their experience here in mylot. well, I can wait for some time but if this isn't working, i can easily drop this down. All your comments are very much appreciated. thank you!

If you post lengthy posts in the right area, should be able to earn it in your first month. I did, and I wasn't all to active. I generally reach payout here month after month now and I am barely on. I guess i am just lucky to post in the right areas lol

With over 2700 posts, you do seem to be pretty active. I just reached 500 posts, and I haven't made my first cashout yet.

How long it will take you to reach payout really bears no relation to how long it takes others to do so. I started at the end of October 2006 and I see that my first payment of over $20 was in December 2006, so it took me less than a month to reach $10. That was some years ago and MyLot is now paying rather less than it did (as with many sites), partly because there are more members now than there were then.
Many people here, however, are paid every month, so it is by no means impossible to make at least $10 a month. How much time you can spend is your own affair, of course, but the quality which you put into your responses and comments is the most important thing.
Posting discussions will earn you very little unless you can make good quality replies to the responses you get. For a new user, I would advise concentrating on responding and commenting on other people's discussions rather than starting your own, at least until you understand what is meant by 'quality'!
It is VERY important to know what goes here and what does not, so read the Guidelines: http://www.mylot.com/o/guidelines.aspx several times until you understand them. Avoid posting anything, of course, which will be deleted but also avoid responding on discussions which are guideline violations.
Most of the questions which newcomers ask are answered in the FAQs: http://www.mylot.com/o/faq.aspx so always look there first for any information you need to know. That being said, many members here are very helpful if there is something which you can't find in the FAQs.

very right sir, i have been here on my lot i think from more than 8 months but still haven't reached my payout it is just cuz i haven't been active on this site as yu all are. Also reaching $10 is not a big deal in a month here but it totally depends upon how much actively you are using this website.
Also the suggestion for newbiess that they should respond and comment more instead of starting new discussions is great. I too agree with it because you will learn as well as earn by reponding to those discussions but by starting new discussions it is not as worthy. when you respond to any dscussion you read the discussion and what other have responded so this helps you learn more.

It actually took me several months before I reached payout. I don't remember exactly how long but it was several months. But I eventually did reach it. Sometimes, it takes time before some can reach payout. While others can do it very quickly. Just keep at it, and you'll be able to reach it.

Honestly, when I started here at Mylot I never expected that I could get a real cash.It was out of curiosity that's why I registered and join the community. When I was here for one (1) to two (2) hours I started to see and feel the unequaled enjoyment to share ideas with new friends both from my country Philippines and from other countries.
It is such a place almost equivalent to a real home. You will meet good friends and so as bad friends hehhe.I am very thankful to find this community because this become the bridge for me to have my current source of living. In short I found my reliable earnings from here in Mylot.

Mylot is a participating site that pays it members for quality content. If you start a discussion and i reply i get paid, you respond to my reply you get paid it is easy as that.
But am still new at this earning online, and mylot you can make friends earn and learn at the same time.I have this month payment proof if you want to see it.

I've just started a few days ago. Sure, they're saying post a lot, but they're belittling that statement. You need to post almost 1000 times to earn any moolah. Keep MyLotting... I'm still on about 30 posts as of posting this, so I guess we're on the same boat.

Well I haven't been here for a long time just a few months but I'll try to answer your questions :) Yes what you've heard is true. You do need to post a lot, that is, be active here on mylot. But that doesn't mean you can post anything. The responses you have to give must be informative, it must be a quality response, that is the only way you'll earn good. So the thing to do would be check out the discussions and try and respond to as much discussions that you can relate to and put quality informations there :)
I have cashed out twice from here. The first time it took me about 3months I think. I know a bit late but that's coz I was new here and didn't really get how things worked :D
Anywya I hope this helps. Goodluck and welcome to mylot

Welcome to mylot! Im also a newbie here. I post more than 5 per day and I don't have any payouts yet. To be honest, earning here is only secondary to me. I like it here. I consider this my blog. :) I can't seem to collect my thoughts and it is here what I would like to do. This is a comunity of discussions where you can say something about your interest. I hope that you'll stay here in mylot.:) keep on posting..
