...since I've been here.
I miss mylot...and some friends that I used to have conversations here.
I was just having a hard time dealing with internet connection, lazy evenings and weekends, and I just can't think of what to respond to some discussions. Guess I'm having a regular vacation for mylot. I think this is good. It will make me miss mylot more than ever.
So, do you feel like having a mylot break once in a while? Did it ever happen to you that you just don't feel like mylotting for a few days?
I always don't have a good discussion in mind so, I might as well love to have a break for a while.

I have taken breaks from mylot when I was too far behind on schoolwork. I would respond to any comments or responses that I was notified of, but I didn't look at the new discussions or start many myself unless there was something important I wanted to share. I had a couple of long breaks (1 and 2 years respectively), but since I became active again in January, it was never more than a couple of days. There were some days when I would only respond to a few discussions so didn't make much money, but those days do happen. I just try to stay in touch. Have a great day!!!

I probably should be doing school work right now, but I just got home and need to get caught up on email. I might try to get my paper done, but even if it is a little late, he works with me since there are only 2 students in the class and the other one is also consistently late on turning in assignments. He knows that I am not doing great and he doesn't penalize me. I have been out all day. I had a CT this morning and because the cyst went away on its own, I didn't need to be sedated to drain it so I drove over to the Red Cross office and helped organize some old paperwork for the disaster services office (the same kind of thing I did last time I was in chemo) and then I went to the bank to cash some checks from online work (not a lot, but it was nice) and then I bought some shorts and a tank top so I could go swimming and have the colostomy covered. I stopped by my brother's house and then they all came over to use the pool at the motel I stay at. So right now I'm doing pretty good. I hope all is going well for you!

And where were you! kidding. Yes it does happen from time to time as life off of myLot must be a priority. So many have been gone recently and I myself was off/on and not my usual self all week. I have been fighting a cold and snuggling in bed trying to be rid of it.
In two weeks I am going away for almost 3 weeks. I will be going to Arkansas to so my time here will be very limited in anything at all during that time.
Glad to see you are back.

Hi HWG... **hugs**
Hope you're okay by now. Don't let yourself get sick. Always drink lots of water to fight cold and other sickness. You have to be healthy on your trip to Arkansas. Are you going to have a vacation there? Take care...
@Suny,you seem to almost know me. Moody? YES. Clever? YES.
But you're wrong as I replied to you on a SUNDAY. About the debt I owe you, get it from me NOW.

belindz, it happens all the time to me and i guess to most of us here. there really comes a time when you don't feel like lotting. lazy? maybe... or just not in the mood. nothing pops in to our minds, nothing can think of discussing... well, i have been too busy with work in the office and that makes me less active for times. but still popping once in a while. hope you also find the right track back to the lot.

Once in a while, I get those kind of days. Where it seems like there is no idea that goes into my head for responses, much less starting discussions.
But I do miss my friends here too. And I get curious about the many things that are going on in their lives. This makes me want to come back regularly.
Welcome back!

I miss MyLot when I go to bed at night. I do have those times that I cannot think of what to post or even what to respond. I go blank so to speak. However, I do try and get here everyday, even if all I can do is muster up enough brain power to respond to at least one post. I like it here and I wish I had more time to spend here. I do have other sites that I am involved with and of course, I promote MyLot to try and get referrals. I currently have 2 referrals but they are not active. Thats a bummer.

Yes, it has happened to me before. Sometimes my mind just can't seem to work and can't think of anything to comment back to discussions.
I guess too much of something will make us bored of it. When this happens, the best thing to do is to take a break from it. Switch your channel, try something else or visit another site that you are a member of. Or maybe do something else offline, like take a walk in the park, read a book, anything that could take your mind away from the regular things. As for me, sometimes I would just watch a video to clear my mind.

Yeah, you're right. I think my mind actually got fed up with lots of discussions to respond to. And so, the day came where I don't want to mylot for a while. And here I am again, feeling refreshed. My mind is clear now and I can respond to the comments easily.

Isn't it so hard sometimes to find a discussion that catches your interest?
Even though you listed it among your "interests", you'll still be having those times wherein you can't really participate. And that's the time we get tired of looking for a discussion to respond to, then, we spend few days break for mylot.

HGi adnileb: Honestly is very weird that I feel tired of using Mylot but in those cases I just do another activity and I come back when I feel charged and wanting to give my best for the site. I have sometimes needed to leave the site but that's because of my job obligations and other priorities that come first but I have always come back here because this site is just great.

Hi adnileb!
It has been actually a long time since I participate again in mylot. I guess I understand what you feel taking a break for while in mylot. The same situation is with me as I took several months break before I participate again. I guess what made me participate again is that there are many interesting topics again to be discussed.
I can say that I missed mylot but there were those lazy evenings and weekends plus the slow internet connection. I took a break because I found that time that there were few discussions that interests me.
I think it's good to take a break sometimes.
Good day!
