Sometimes some stupid things are invented for the sake of "beauty"

So I was just browsing when I came across something very interesting: "Nail dangles".
They are little dangle jewelry that you wear on your nail. They look a lot like phone charms. Personally, I think that this is stupid and impractical. It would easily get snagged whenever you are doing anything. Maybe some people could function with it, but I use my hands way too much.

What do you think? Are they cute or dumb? Is it worth the hassle? Or maybe you don't think it would be a hassle?

Oh how crazy! I think it's incredibly dumb and definitely impractical. Even if my daughter would wear them to a dance at school or whatever, it's so impractical - what happens when you need to use the bathroom and wash your hands? How crazy and it's sad that people will probably plunk down money for them too.

Yeah. I feel this way even about fake nails. I can't seem to do anything with them on and am totally bewildered on how people can wear them every day, so when I heard about these, I can't even imagine how a person would function.
They probably have real diamond ones for wealthy people. Just imagine losing that down the sink.

That is one of the dumbest things I've ever seen, and how can they think THAt is beautiful? Personally I think beauty extremes are ways to keep women subservient, since they can't use their hands properly without messing up their nails, and in the case of old customs like chinese food binding, they can't walk properly either. Same with modern day high-heels. It's as bad as the old corset!

Very good point. Way to take the discussion to another level.
