I used to make tags for any responses I make for now that my connectivity is not working well, I have to skip this. Have you been skipping this tags and for what reason?

I do use tags when I make responses to the discussions. However it is something that I do rather sparingly a lot of the time. The reason for this being as most of the time, I just can't think of anything else that would improve upon the topic. There are times when I get there and all of the good tags are pretty much there. Therefore, no need for me to oversaturate the entire situation. So there is really no need to do so.
Then there are other times where I just go boom, boom, boom, from topic to topic to topic. Therefore tags are just the last thing on my mind. I am on a role sometimes and thus it is time to really respond to a great deal of topics. Unless something really glaring just slaps me right in the face, I tend to just not put any tags on any discussions that I post on. My own discussions, of course, but not the discussions of others.

Yeah, this is what's the reality, we can;t think of any more tags that will help the discussions and I think most of us want to go over the topics in a speed of time to make posts and comments as there are lots of things going on in our mind. I usually think hard before I make response as not to make the discussion fail in its true sense because of my silly response. Have a nice day!

I used to use the tags but have found myself slacking off of them lately.Saving time I guess. They are good though,so we can categorize the subjects.I need to start back doing it.

I do use the tags and almost always do. Reason why it is important is that when members search the search bar and topics do not come up they easily say the search is not working. The search cannot find untagged topics, therefore, too many like that will cause for deletions of duplicate topics.
Though it is not compulsory it is certainly useful. I have entered hundreds of topics daily where it had several discussions and yet no tags. To try and avoid duplicate topic deletions, it is wise to tag discussions.
