I Was Just Wondering...

I was just sitting back after my wife made the most delicious eggplant I have ever tasted and I thought wow, how lucky I am. I have moved my whole life to the Philippines and I am very happy. I do get homesick once in awhile but I still don't want to be anywhere else than right here. My question to you all is...Do you wish you lived somewhere else (not locally but a different country), and if you do...why?

As youngster, i wanted to go abroad and study.I didn't make sufficient attempt or plan well.Hence this attempt of mine didn't succeed.I have lived here all my life and hence got very familiar with the surroundings.I wouldn't now decide to go and live elsewhere except for a short holiday.

I understand, that's how I felt and then the next thing I knew is that I was here. I would like to visit other places also.

hi dennis,
as a little girl, i have been dreaming of living in texas and being with a relative. then when i see pictures of houses and their inner features, i wanted to live in japan, too. now having very good friends in india, i wanted to live there as well. i guess, i want to experience how it is to be in a new place.. a new life.

I know what you mean. It's hard to decide on one place because they all sound great and have something different to offer.

As you asked, I would love to be somewhere in America. In Georgia specifically. I have made some few friends from there through Skype and they are totally great. I wanted to live my life there once in a while! But honestly, been dreaming to live in Korea or Japan.. :)

Hi Edsss17...I lived in Georgia for awhile, it's very rural and quite where I lived. Never been to Japan though except for a stop over on my way to Philippines. I think I also would like to visit Japan or Korea. I love observing new cultures. Thx for the response.
