Some of us claim that we earn hundreds or more but majority are earning less than 50 dollars a month. And the time spent more than the income earned. Do you think its worth your self-employed? Personally I do not have a choice. I am take it as it comes. Because right now, every where I go, I don't stay for long. So its better for me to earn small and stay as long as I want to.

Hi wong! I think it would take time if you really want to earn big online. The trick perhaps is maintain your offline work while moving forward with your online hobby. It should work out well, given patience and determination.
How long have you been working online, anyway?

Hi my! Yeap, as you've noticed I got a bit busy with my in-laws visit. But now, they've gone back home and I've all the time in the world to catch up with my online work. I'm happy to receive some money while I was away, too. I got my first payment in MyLot and another payment from Triond! It's a good month! I hope to reach payout here in Mylot again this month. Pressure!!hahahaha

Still doing online job as 'extra money'.
Wondering if could make it as the main monthly income. But haven't got the way to do it. Yet, never give up on trying, trying, and trying :)

For two months, I thought of being a freelancer, a full time blogger. But, I guess I am yearning for a day job that could give me definite amount of money every payday. But I know a number who are earning relevantly high online. It depends on your talent, and how you look at it.

I think it really depends on the person and the circumstances that they have in their lives. For example, for me I really do think that it is worth it because I have the flexibility to be able to do things with my children whenever I want to. That is what is the most important to me. Additionally, I can take a day off whenever I have something that I need to get done, for example going with Tom to the hospital and things like that.

Yes I think it worth, but spend your time creating a solid website who would earn you the amount to want of money as long as you want and it will have value if you need money and you could sell it for big amounts .

I am trying to find better ways to earn online but I've been doing that for years now. I am a bit picky when it comes to what I will do online for earnings. I need what I can get though as I am still looking for a job. I also would need the extra money online anyway because I am trying to better myself and allow myself for some cushiony savings. I'd love it if I could make as much as I've read some people have made, which is about $100.00 online. If I could make that a month I'd have it saved up and at the end of the year I'd use part of it and save the rest of it. In any case, some people do not have a choice like me and hve to take what they can get, so even if it's just a penny a day it's a penny more then they had before.

Well i cannot answer this in the perspective of self- employed mylotters but i will answer this in my own perspective. I am working, i have a full time career and works from 8-6 in the eve and most of the time i get to mylot is only during my break hours..like lunch time. so is it worth it? yes of course because instead of spending in on facebook and not earning anything..atleast during my break time i am still earning! Plus the free time i have during weekends, i am also earning while enjoying and even hoping i could achieve more of this online jobs.

To earn well through online needs hard work and patience. I had been doing online jobs for more than 3 years but i don't earn much because i spend limited time to online. I think those who have the expertise and able to spend more time to online, surely can earn much more than me. Hope you will be able to find a much better offline job, since the pay is much better than online job. Good luck to you...

I see a great error in thinking that online earning is a job. NO. It's an extra money you can use to spend online, but if you're seeking to cover your real life expenses with internet, you've got a very serious problem in your hands.
My phase is: if it's online, it's not a job. If it's a job, it's not online.
Internet sites don't give you any warranty on anything. You may be earning thousands today and nothing the next day because a site go scam. Also you don't have any regular salary and depend solely on what you can do and what the sites like to pay you, not to mention that you'll not have any kind of jubilation, medical care or any other coverage or work right, because in fact you have no real employment.
In last instance, remember that the money will only come to PayPal, not anything you can use in your real life. Withdrawing from it is not that easy and always carries with one more commission.
Stop dreaming and get a job. Keep PayPal money to buy toys on the web.

Well, I really don't have anything to do during my online hours so earning a few dollars would be more beneficial rather than nothing. Well maybe because I don't consider earning online as job that I am obligated to work on. Well, maybe if I get a totally demanding online job I have to weigh in the advantages and disadvantages before judging if it's worth it compared to offline job.

Hi wongchoiyee, I think it's worth it because at least even it's just a small amount of money, I still get money. Earning online is my source of money which are used to buy the things that I want to buy, things that I cannot buy before because my parents doesn't give me enough money. I admit that I also earn about $50 only monthly but it still helps than not earning anything at all, right? I agree we do not have a choice, so instead of being negative that we are all underpaid, let's just be positive that at least we are earning something.

Hi wongchoiyee!
It is totally worth it. I quit working outside of my home in Feb of 2010 and I hope I never have to return again although I am grateful that I have that choice. I quit mostly because I was missing out on my kids and the little time I had for them I was tired and stressed. Working online does not earn you much at first but with hard work and patience I have earned my goals.

I guess it is worth to work online as you as you are stay at home mom or something like that. I admit, at first earning online is very hard for me but little by little as you will engage in and meet new people there are new opportunity come in. I earned $70 last month that's my highest so far and very happy about it. It does need hard work and persistent to find some ways and sites to earn.

I earn an average of about a hundred a month, and that gets me where I want to be. I can earn more on months that I work really hard, but if I'm lazy I'll make at least something. If I had a minimum wage part time job, it would be much more worth it. I couldn't spend much time at home, but it would be so much more money for a job that probably wouldn't take that much knowledge or effort.

It is not worthy to focus just on online jobs, but I do. I make very little every month even though I have tried very hard. It is always not easy to make money online. Sometimes after you paid a lot of efforts on a particular site, and when you get very close to the payout amount, the site just shut down without any notification. At the beginning, I am anxious and tense, but now, I learn to be relaxed. I try to work on legit sites, and just regard my paypal account as a backup saving account. When you see the income from online jobs like this (what I mean is not regarding it as your major income), then it is worthy for you to work hard on it.

I think it's worth it. I've been working online for almost two years now as an English teacher and I really enjoy it and the pay is good too. I think it depends on the kind of job that you will have. Not all online jobs are legit a lot of them are scams just be careful and don't believe in easy money things.
