It is really sad to tell you guys that my dream job that I applied for yesterday is now over. I didn't make it. :( i felt like crying. I really dreamt of working there. I guess that door just closed...
But I believe that when one door closes, another one opens. I believe that even if I didn't get this particular job, another one is on its way. And it could be even better! I just have to keep my faith, and just try to look at the positive side. Maybe there's a reason why I didn't get accepted for this job. Maybe there's another job that's waiting for me, and it's a much bigger job than I could dream of.
So i'll just stay strong and still count my blessings. And even if this another door eventually closes, the windows can still be opened, right? :)

I sometime think it was not meant to be for me. There'll be other good things coming my way. I do believe it will be the same for you. It's like when I apply for a course and I am not approved. I try again at another school. There are many places to apply for work. Sometime it can go some weeks, before new opportunities come your way, which are meant to be for you. Keep your chin up with a positive attitude.

We have two sorts of sayings: "Nothing happens without a reason" and "God takes with one hand and gives with another", both of them saying much or more the same, and namely what you have stated here: When one door closes, another one opens. You just got to be optimist, not to give up and I am sure that everything will be alright, because this is how life is meant to be, after the rain, there is always sunshine.

Since I was little I heard stuff like "a kick in the ... a step forward "or" When one door closes, another opens. "Anyway, the point is that sometimes a negative thing standing in the construction of a positive. But still, even now are not sure you need "a kick in the ..." to make a step forward. Things are never as you want.
A door has closed in my life. Truth is not me I decided to close. I keeps it open. But because I was "invited" to come through the door, I decided to slam behind me and throw the key
I had to do this for a long time, but like many people, I have delayed things. And so, the door stood open not recognize, but open. And you know what about these doors parted: you draw current, so anyone can enter. That's why the doors are closed times, or open or locked.
Now let me tell you my great "revelation". This time sayings were right. Indeed, it was necessary to close a door for another to open. You know, is that those doors secure ... until it closes the first, second can not open.

Well Pinkpiglet you have just summed up everthing that I could have told you. Most importantly we must think positive and never be let down down by things that do not go our way. Keep yourself motivated as it keeps you going. There must be a reason for not getting the job you applied for. Definately there is something better in line for you and you will enjoy it even more. So be patient and things will automatically fall in place. Never be dejected by failure as when one door closes many other open..

You got a very good attitude towards life. Sooner or later with that kind of attitude you will get a job that you will be happy with. For my part it took me several time before I finally got that job that I was happy with. I often dream about it. I pray about it too but I never let it go.

It's good to have this positive attitude and not feel discouraged after being turned down for this job;usually people with this kind attitude are rewarded for their patience and confidence,so it's important to keep on following your dreams and I'm sure that more doors will open and eventually the good times will come.

I'm so sorry that you didn't get your dream job. But I really like your optimism I wish I could be as optimistic as you are but sometimes it's just so impossible to be that way.
Anyway yes there might be some better opportunities out there. Just go out there and keep looking and god luck with the future!!

i am thinking of the trout we have, if the door to the esophagus opens to let the food passes up to the stomach, the door to the airways temporary close in order for the food not to accidentally pass to the lungs...
you may feel it when you swallow your food....
one door is closed while the other opens and vice versa.....

This happens to most of us, just keep on having positive attitude. Although things didn't workout the way you plan it, be always ready to grab opportunities when it opens up, sometimes being well trained, well prepared, and with a good attitude, you'll get it the second time around.

You really don't have to brood over that too much. While we are still alive there are a lot of opportunities waiting for us. If you get the right one or knows how to find it, then BANG it is all yours for the taking. Some things are just not meant for us. But there are always things that are bound to be ours and let us just wait for the right moment that it will be given to us. But do try some more. Then you will realize that everything is worth it. Because there are opportunities too that needs to be found by giving it hard work. Many successful people failed many times until they got to the point that they finally reached their goal. Good luck!

According to one song that my father used to sang, "Count your many blessings and name them one by one." It is not always that we fail at one thing that it means the world to us. Me too, I failed a couple of times not only in terms of job but even in studies and life. But every time I face losing, I learn how to smile and thank God because He uses these experiences as reminders. Life is never as we want it to be, but we can make it better if we see things in a beautiful perspective.

hi pinkpiglet if you are anywhere near where I am grab the first job you get and keep the darned thing, unemployment in Southern California is theworst its been in years and years. for each job offered a hundred
will shop up for it. its an employer's market and it has not improved in almost three years.I am sorry you did not get the dream job but am really
hoping another better one will now pop up.but do not be choosy if the unemployment rate is bad where you are. you can always change jobs later when the economy picks up if it will. maybe it will take a new US President to make it happen Obama is not doing it. grrrrrrrrrron him. thats for the rotten stinking California economy now.

I think that it's a good thing to have a positive outlook on life, and anything happening in your life. I do think that it can really help. I do try to have the same sort of attitude as you do. I do think that everything happens for a reason, whether we know why it happened or not.
