Hello Mylot community! I would like to get into writing articles on the internet

However, my grammar isn't the best which makes me have some self esteem issues. I love to blog and discuss things. Can any of you point me to the right direction of free software or grammar check so that I can get my articles approved? I have searched on the web but with no luck. I really want to do some stuff with Triond and possibly helium. For all of you who are successful on the internet with your articles do you use spell or grammar check? Which ones do you use? Can you share your knowledge with me about this I would really appreciate it very much.

Helium is a great site that I use that I would HIGHLY recommend!!!
However, if you're gonna sign up, could you sign up as a referral of mine? :)
Just e-mail me at cw442@yahoo.com and I can send you an e-mail invite!
I'll also always be here to give you any veteran Helium advice/help you need!

MS Word has a built-in spelling and grammar checker. It's not infallible (of course) but it'll spot most problems. I believe the Open Office word processor also has one.
Firefox also has a spelling checker addon available and I suspect all browsers have one either built in or downloadable. Chrome just underlined "addon", so there's obviously a spelling checker in it!!
I don't use a particular one, personally - just the one in Word. The wiggly lines get in the way, to be honest!

And by the way, your grammar and spelling are far better than the majority of published authors on the revenue share sites, so don't worry too much!!

SpikeTheLobster THANK YOU! That is a very nice compliment and I will accept that. I appreciate the advice to about the grammar/spellchecker. I did try MS Word before but had problems with getting the grammar correct the spell checker did work great for me however. Its nice to know for a fellow MyLot Colleague that I do have what it takes to be an authentic publisher on the internet. That truly means alot to me.

I know my grammer lets me down sometimes especially when I'm overtired and not concentrating.
I've just brought Microsoft Office 2010 which I find pretty good especially at picking at picking out typos.
I noticed a site called Grammarly a while back. You can copy and paste your text into a box on their site and it'll do a grammar check and spell check for you.

Writing is my favorite hobby too, articles, short stories, reviews, commentaries, and so on. Yes, Triond and Helium are good places too. One other place, if this could be of interest to you, is "Review Stream". You can write brief refiews on a variety of things, things you come across in your day-to-day activities, shopping, movies, restaurants, travel, and so on.
