I don't have my paypal account verified with a bank account, but I can still use paypal to receive money from my online jobs. Concerning the question whether you can go shopping online without a bank account, I suppose you mean using the money in your paypal account to shop, it depends on which website you go shopping. For websites like facebook, you cannot shop with a unverified account, so you cannot buy things with your paypal account even you have sufficient money in it. But there are some sites or individual users who accepted money from unverified accounts, you'd better check by yourself.

You definely need to be verified! You can confirm bank account and (or add credit card) I never seen any paypal merchands (online stores) that deal with unverified paypal accounts!

it's difficult but still posibble, without bank account you just can't withdraw your money to your local bank.. but you can still sell your balance via internet..

You will have to get verified your account before shopping or withdraw. You can get verified your account with the help of your bank account or debit or credit card. If you dont have any these things than you can not get your account verified.
