Hello Lotters
I was busy mylotting this afternoon while my mom's maid was watching a Tagalog DVD Movie, when I heard a shout and a screeching sound. I thought it was just another vehicle that tries to pull of a show. Out of Curiousity i went outside and saw a Lady got pretty much hurt, though she wasn't hit by the car, part of her foot was rolled down by a tire. she could have fell when a Tricycle driver was able to brought her up and warn! the car not to leave. the good ol tricycle driver told the lady to take photos (from her cellphone) of her injured foot and the cars plate number.
The Lady on the back seat went out and made like an angry disposition, but all that stop when the traffic officer butt in. It was clear that the guy who was driving didn't have a license. because the girl who confronted them was at the back.
I was talking to that tricycle driver and he told me that they were in some sort of argument inside the car before the HIT happened. but what made me so furious is that the driver should have shut them up and should have focus on HIS driving... but he didn't.
When you are the driver, you have to be responsible to your surroundings.

Drivers must stop the car if they struck other people's car or pedestrians so they can render assistance. It's the road rule that we must follow here. If drivers failed to stop, they will be coward forever.
What a poor situation to that lady. If I was present in that incident I would give that lowlife guy a big lesson.

Hello jhartana, Unfortunately, you can't do that since a traffic officer was also there, you don't want to consider complicating the situation where the driver and his friends can't escape the traffic officer, and we don't want the situation to go escalating.

That was really nice of the tricycle driver Helpful people are really hard to find these days. And i hope the lady wasn't very badly hurt though getting one's foot run over by a car sounds really hurtful.
I don't drive much but when I do, I'm really very careful. When my dad's with me, he's more alert than I am and suggest me when I am doing something wrong or bendy. When i drive alone, I try to be really careful coz it might coz mine or someone's life.

Hello Thatgirl,
Yes, he's an old man but a good one at that. her feet was badly hurt as it was run over by a car tire that's why they shouldn't run also because the plate number was recorded into the victims mobile phone. that's good to know that you're very careful with driving, that's number one responsibility, lucky you got that kind of parents. have a nice day.

I agree with you, drivers should really be very aware and focused on the road because they are putting themselves. In danger and of course others who are with them and people who might not even be aware of what's going on with the car you are driving.

Hello Chiyosan,
The tricycle driver some how saw what those people were doing before the accident. it's really pathetic that such small incident could have happen knowing the road is an high way and they shouldn't have focus much on the conversation, most specially the driver was not supposed to listen to them.

Hi Letran
Oh sorry to hear the lady was hurt by the irresponsible driver. Yes that sort of thing happens here a lot as many drivers today are in such a hurry and not paying attention to their surrounding. Sadly many innocent people get hurt because of it.
It is a big responsibility to be a driver and many think that driving a car is all they have to do to get where they are going. When in fact it is quite a big responsibility as everything going on in their surroundings they have to be careful for.
I hope the lady will be okay.

Hello Hardworkinggurl,
Being a driver is indeed a huge responsibility. his stupidity of THat won't work in the US because the officer there would literally asked for your license and gets arrested if you don't have one. maybe next time she will stay off the road and asked people before she starts looking else where before hand. anyways, thanks for your time, have anice day.

Too bad the driver was distracted by his noisome passengers. I think we should not only blame the driver of having a one of a kind passengers, as a passenger we should be responsible enough to watch out our actions whenever we take a ride. I mean, there are some passengers who demand as if they're the owner of the road. Next time, drivers should warn their passengers to keep quiet for he wanted peace when driving and passengers should take part on it as well.

Hello angie,
This was a car that hit the girl, i think the driver was involved in the conversations, that's why the accident happened. this isn't a public utility vehicle. unfortunately, i think the driver doesn't have a license and was asked to drive and that happened, the driver didn't show up.

Oh wow, I am glad no one got seriously hurt..Yes, I have learned this lesson with kids, they can be a big distraction and if I am distracted, they know I will pull over until they settle down..

Hello Carmel,
Then after that some of the bystanders went looking at the kid who's also on the road, gladly the mom was there to pick him up. It was a mistake for that driver to get involved in such arguments, and now they have to pay for the hospital expenses occured by that person who is probably unlicensed. have anice day.

Driver's here in our country..though not all..but there are some who really do not know the responsibility they have. i had my law subject back in college and we were able to discuss this..That the driver's responsibility starts from the time the passenger steps foot on the vehicle and all the way till the passenger safely arrives the destination. I was really listening that time because here in Zamboanga there are sooo many abusive drivers! Like they would drive the tricycle very fast as if they is no passenger inside even jeepneys do that which is pretty much annoying and i would often encounter arguments with them

Hello Jazel,
Some of these drivers learn how to drive by being taught by friends, and relatives. unfortunately, these aren't kind of drivers that learned how to be more responsible around them. some people just wanted to drive, have their own car and their brags about it.have a nice day to you.

Hello Sjvg, As long as you concentrate on the road, looking at; left, right, front and back for vehicles and pedestrians, i do believe you're good enough to be a driver. you're not a race driver but a regular driver. It's a good thing that you focus on the road instead of just talking with the passengers

I'm sorry the lady got hurt. Driving is a privilege and not a right. If the person doesn't have a picante he doesn't have the privilege to drive. You are right. A driver must maintain order in the car. If he cannot concentrate to drive he has no business driving anyway.

Hello pointless Q.
The guy doesn't know that and when the accident happened, it was the lady at the back who approach the victim and some bystanders who actually helped her get up. the injury was really bad because one of the tires roam over her foot which was really awful for me to see it. Have anice day.
