I saw you site and it is nice. I want to make my own website too but dont know where to start. I just want to practice my skills in web development. But I always get lazy to start up.

hey, its easy to start, schedule your self to make 1 hour a day and you'll be fine just think about what you gonna make a website about and try it you don't loose nothing by doing that, work your skill and trust me time i do not have i m an artist, run a store, and maintain two website which means not much time to rest, but try it its fun, you free to say and publish what you want when you want it and about no limit subjects.

I took a look at your site, not bad. I would quite using the free version of GoDaddy.com. They put all those adds on your page and you don't get paid for them. I use JustHost.com to host all my sites. My suggestion as far as ideas and making money.
First, forget about making money right away. If you concentrate on that the whole time, you won't be concentrating on creating a quality site that people want to spend time at day after day. First things first, GET TRAFFIC.
I would suggestion creating a site solely on abstract art. This site could feature all of your artwork with a little story about each one. Search engines work by scanning text and alt tags for your photos. Make sure you use a lot of keywords about art work over and over so that you can start getting ranked in the search engines. The next thing, on this site, not only should you showcase your talents, but show and/or link to other sites where others have posted theirs. This way you can try and get them to link back to your site and post some of your work as well. Also, you may want to have a page for someone who is just getting into painting and drawing. Maybe have a page on the types of pencils, brushes, canvas', paints, stencils, that you use. Have a good description of each, a link to the site that sells them. Have a twitter/facebook page that is linked to your site so that people could follow you and will get updates when you post new stuff to your site. These are just some examples, Hope this Helps. Good Luck.

such wonderful advices you right and i saved your advice so i can do as you say. i don't use the free version of go daddy.com i use a deluxe plan for my my art site and a premium one for my business one which is http//www.clapthis.com cause i want them to be secure. i designed both of them but i going to start over with the arts one so i can keep my visitors.
