Hello Lotters, You know barely a Month ago we were enjoying the benefits of good o'l rain, storms coming here and there every once or twice a week. we experience good rains that we didn't bother watering plants, and it felt good for the dog too. but now, it seems it's like summer all over again and it's something that I hate because I take shower more than thrice already and then immediately change clothes. But i guess it's good for the business renters though since there's less customers during the rainy season, but it's really damn hot. I've heard it's a lot hotter on other countries, but luckily we still have that garden at the back so that it could give us a bit of a fresh air through oxygen. Hope you people experiencing better weather than we do.

Same here. When I get to my room the heat seems just rise up than at the living room. Even after I take a bath it still sweaty and feel uncomfortable. They say today forecast there might be scattered thunderstorms and I am waiting for it. It reminds me of the kid old rhymes,'Rain rain go away, come again another day', but now I really want that rain to come today and please show it face in another day as well~(^^)

Hello CTHanum, Why is this happening, how much more are we going to tolerate? When it rained, it didn't mattered. but what I strongly regretted was not taking a bath on the rain. rain is good for places that are not been attacked by floods. being sweaty is indeed uncomfortable and forced me to take a bath on. have anice day.

Lately it has not been hot here. We are having high temperatures in the eighties. Normally at this time of year it's at least ninety to a hundred.Since I'm a person who hates the heat, I am loving this! I hope you are more comfortable soon where you are, too.

Hello Rjlady, Wow, that's good to know at least these recent climate change has been a good improvement. to be experiencing the heat even if it's rainy season is something I really feel disappointed about this. the only bad experience that i kept having is sweating when ever i do things on a hot summer. Have a Nice day.

As this is now October it is quite cool out. It isn't too bad during the day, with highs of 13C and 15C still and sunny most days. But our evenings and nights cool down to about 2C and that's cold. I guess I better get used to it because it will be winter soon. I live in Canada where we get cold winters of -30C or colder. I don't like cold winters but I have no choice living in Canada. At least I live in Calgary where we don't get it quite as cold as places like Winnipeg..where I used to live. So 4 months ago when you posted this discussion it was the month of June. We didn't get much of a good start to our summer this year. In June it was still quite cool and lots of rain. That isn't normal for us at all. Where I live in Calgary it is usually more like desert weather, dry....But this year was weird as in we had lots of rain. And of course with rain comes mesquitoes which I hate even more than I hate winter. Once it warmed up in July the mesquito eggs hatched and we had lots of them this year. Again this is unusual for Calgary...we don't usually have any at all. The weather has been strange for us in Canada all year. And we will probably have a strange winter too. I just hope it is good strange...as in no snow or cold weather. Cheers and happy mylotting, Chris

Hello chrislotz, It's hard to believe that we had experience this when it's supposed to be raining. i think people then thought much of the different weather then.right now, it's all rain and the problem for the moment are the leaking waters in the ceiling. I am not that much aware of the weather in Canada but always remember to be careful and never under estimate the weather there. have a nice day.

Hello Wilmpie, Another lucky mylotter who is experiencing the good old cold. well, it's better work on those roofs or other wise the rain would penetrate it and cause water inside you're place. becareful out there, have anice day too.

I live in southern Georgia (USA), and it is late fall here right now, so the weather here is actually quite pleasant. We have had a few cold nights so far, but they are a welcome relief to the scorching heat of the summer. This is definitely my favorite time of the year.

Hello Goldeneagle, I know that United States has four seasons and here in the Philippines we have only two. I don't know how my people who goes there survive the four seasons. Anyways, cold seasons are good as long as it is not too much, same goes with summer, but i think summber is worse there because of the heat wave. have a nice day.

Hello wonttakelong, I have experience summer for our two months and I can tell you that it's really annoying. I remember watching the news about the heat in Chicago that people even took a bath in the fountain, that's really nice and good. that's hard when you live near the forest, when it should have been more cool and fresh air, there's also a threat of wild fires. be careful out there.

It has been a dry and a bit hotter weather in my place for the last few days. This is far from the moderately rainy days I got few weeks before this slightly hot weather. At any rate it is not as hot as that of summer and still not causing big discomfort although I need to turn on the aircon during the night. I am praying for some rain within this week for a change. I've always loved bed weather so I hope it comes within the next few days.

Hello Salonga, THat's right, so hot and so dry that i kept having this strange feeling that am gonna get sick any time there. It's hard not having a rain and when ever there's a chance that clouds coming in and turning dark then we get the chance to move the clothese being dried. have a nice day.

We received 1/2 inch of rain yesterday. It was welcome but noit a drought breaker. You see, here in south central Texas we are in extreme drought conditions. According to the forecaster on the TV, there are degrees of drought, and extreme is the worst degree. We had day after day of 100+ temperatures, but last week we had a cool front. The temperature was only 99 degrees F. It could be worse. The high that was centered over Texas moved north to center over Kansas. This gave them dry weather and temperatures of 110F. all can't come soon enough, but it doesn't start cooling off in this part of the cou ntry until some time in October.

Hello Bellis, NOW that is HOT and something I don't i can handle even here it's already hot and had to take a shower a lot often. I know that tolerating four season is hard but tolerating four seasons that are the context of climate change, then this is something that is indeed hard to tolerate.have a nice day.

Weather here is not that good. It is too hot, but still I can handle it. Good thing we had AC over here to make ourselves cool. Yes, it is better than heavy rains :D

Hello minniemadz, good luck for all of us. i think getting sick is part of it but we had to adjust but am glad that I am from a place where i can tolerate concentrately on two seasons and cold snow is not one of them. have a nice day

Hot weather here too until yesterday when storm invaded the country. So the temperature is now bearable. But these extremes are not good for health I believe. I felt awful when storms were coming. Hot weather makes me feel without strength and I feel tired at every move. Also my brain is functioning bad, I cannot concentrate. I think we have to adapt to such kind of weather. It will be a frequent phenomenon.
• Philippines
22 Jul 11
Hello LadyDD, I believe with a extremely hard heat there goes the evaporating of water from the sea turning it into a storm. the so called frequent phenomenon is due to industrialization let climate change happened though. I have a problem concentrating on mylot but later I would try to do better despite of this changing weather. have a nice day.

Have a Nice day.

It's not so good here too. These days particularly are quite cloudy and there were some heavy rains last weekend. Also it has been very cold. We suffered a polar cold a few weeks ago. Now we have like 8 degrees C only. Although I feel this is not being a too cold winter anyway, despite the recent changes.
• Philippines
22 Jul 11
Hello Ramres, Wow, that is something really cold, but too cold is just too much, you should have some fireplace or heater to warm up. having a cold weather isn't good and the only definition of cold that I want is actually the rain but not typhoon. I like sunny as long as it's breezing. have a nice day.

It sounds like you are a little OCD on the klenlinous front. I will myself I was little selt presendation but three showees a day and changing your clothes makes my thnk you wont have musch time to a lot else. Britain is not a particularly hot country, although it does have it's hot days at times. It does tend to be humid and muggy though, sometimes with overcast sky. Last year I went to Greece and the sand burnt our feet. Previously I went to Bruge and the temeraturers was too hot to walk for long without stapping for a sit down and a drink.

Hello caterina, I might even consider mylse tolerating it though. well, if it's hot remember having a sun block or anything that turns you into something complicated in health complications. I am not aware about the climate conditions in Europe though but I've heard it's mostly cold. have a nice day.

Very hot and very humid! We are supposed to have atlease a few more days of this. It's awful, I'm hoping our garden survives also. The kids don't seem to totally notice it much but I've been trying to keep them in til after dinner or around sunset to catch fire flies as it's just too much.

Hello SnuggleBunnies, It's indeed hot and very much hard when it comes to standing on the heat. I believe watering them from morning and evening will help them survive though. don't worry it's a weather that we can survive in. have a nice day.

It has been sunny and breezy here the last few days which is really good. I don't like it to be too rainy, but rain does help it cool off a bit. I'm sorry it's been stormy and then got really hot for you! I don't like when it's so hot I have to take a shower twice a day!
• Philippines
22 Jul 11
Hello Some Cowgirl, Well, as long as it's breeze under a sun there's no problem. You know, I don't mind the sun as long as there is a wind blowing because if it's just pure heat then were in big trouble I guess. AS I have been in trouble already. I took shower more than twice already for this kind of situation. have a nice day.

Here in the midwest, Michigan, we are experiencing a heat wave also... we are in the mid 90s and with the heat index it feels like over 100 degrees and there is no relief in sight just yet. We will continue with out heat wave through the weekend and it is only Tuesday so the days ahead will be only getting hotter through the week. Sorry to hear you are going through the same heat but one thing our newscasters here keep saying on the television -- imagine what it was like last January when we were freezing and wanting the warmer weather and think about next January/winter when we will be dealing with snow, grey days and all the coats, gloves, boots and everything we have to put on just to go outside.... kind of puts things into perspective. Happy mylotting and have a great day!!

Hello Bookreadermom08, It must be really hard there too because of the weather. i think we can just stay in the bath or some water floated swimming pool or something. i guess it's not as balancing as it was before. weather can change depends on the month even though you have four seasons, things are just too different specially with climate change. Have a nice day.

We have had some nasty weather around here, both the hot kind and the stormy kind. This has been a rather bad summer all things considered. Today its going to get up to a hundred and ten degrees heat index, which is rather insane. Regular ninety degree weather is rather painful to say the very least. It has not been good on the grass to say the very least either, which it is rather dry and brown. That is rather icky to say the very least. Some nasty weather around her for the hot perspective as well. Then there are the storms. Oh boy are there ever a lot of storms here. It seems like when it is not like a blistering heat, it is rather rainy and with lightning and thunder and all kinds of insanity that goes along with that. Not to mention a couple of tornado watches and some hail too. Then it immediately gets rather hot again. It has been a rather wicked summer with nothing but a lot of bad things and enchantingly nasty weather. Some summer this is.

I live in the south central part of the US and it's been hot these last days... Over the past few years I've noted that weather seems to be experiencing extremes, flooding, then drought, excessive heat, high humidity... Here where I live we went from having the heat on one day to turning the air conditioners on the next, we went from having too much water (4 feet deep in one neighbor's house) to having drought conditions within a matter of days. The humidity has been running through all this in the 90th percentiles. This weather isn't good for man nor beast, even the squirrels in the oak out front are miserable and seeking relief. It is possible that the climatic change the earth periodically goes through has begun and is accelerating...things could get interesting for some of us if this is so.

Hello Imnobody, Climate change has already begun already, this is something that caught me for surprise. the drought is definitely a lot worse which can kill a lot of animals and plants having a low supply coming from our source for our food. wow, so you were swimming or sitting four feet or water. have a nice day.
