what is yahoo answer?

yahoo answers is similar to the site CHA CHA.com you post on yahoo answers with questions that you have and others in the community or experts will answer them and give you proof of what you need to answer your question. I like it and use it quite frequently. Sometimes you can find some good experts on there as well. Been using yahoo for 15 years now so I think I would know.

On Yahoo Answers, you can only get points and fun. The rules are not tight for which people cant write a one line answer to a random question asked by another Yahoo answers user and still receive points from it. I, however, use the site for gaining traffic to my articles. For this, I search questions that are relevant to my articles. I write an answer to them and place the link under it for the questioner to know more about it or as a proof what I wrote. For a few years, Yahoo kept this as illegal. But currently, they stated in their TOS that we can do this to attract visitors to our site. But no marketing content like "buy this and that" is allowed. It still gets reported because there are affiliated marketers who try to spam their forums.

I have never used YAhoo answers although but i an tell you that if you have got a BLog or any website which you want to promote then just try yahoo answers search for the questions in your blog/website niche and then answer the questions with your website links.
