A girl whose name was Kristy and she is just 17 years old. Her step father just Raped her allegedly at her bed. When he was caught and brought in front of a Jury he got his freedom by giving the reasons that he was suffering from sexomania and he was in sleeping condition and unaware of what he is doing at the time of crime being committed.
I am deeply disappointed by the steps taken by the Jury's. They just taken a wrong decission against a life.
Do you satisfy with the Jury's Decission????????

Wow and I am sure there was some type of evidence that got him off, but my thoughts is what about the victim. She will live in fear and he has destroyed her life. How sad to think that this condition can be justified.

Oh yes I can imagine the rage I would get to hear that someone got off without punishment after abusing my child. I would definitely want to take matters in my own hands too. It is a terrible situation and sadly the victim did not get justice.

Ohhhh no he is free from punishment I hate this decision. I full disagree with jurys decision. Nobody can do this in sleeping because his eyes will open at that time he cannot to do this with close eyes then he cant see that innocent girl. Some men is really very cruel. Now nobody can believe even own father or brother also. Why he is sleeping in that girl room. Where is her mother at that time. If I was Judge then I never leave him without punishment.

Many criminal attorneys here do get around the justice system. It is quite sad really because there are truly innocent people in jail, then we hear of situations like this one that truly are too sad to hear.

Seriously? The father got off by saying it was sexomania? He didn't know what he was doing? He might of made that story up to get off! If not was he diagnoised with this so called sleeping ptoblem? This sounds alittle fishy to me! I do really feel sorry for the daughter! What a crazy story!

Hello ashish,
I don't have the right to challenge jury's decision because they must have taken the decision by keeping all things in view but personally i feel he is a culprit & we should not leave such person as they are dangerous for our society. Imagine if he is suffering from sexomania then why he did not sleep with her wife why don't her wife & he took prevention for their daughter. What is the gaurantee he won't repeat it again. He will repeat it again on the name of sexomania. i know it because now jury also has agreed that he is suffering from sexomania.
In my opinion if a daughter is not safe with her parents then there is no way for her.

Hi ashish,
it's just a lame excuse. A sleeping man can't rape a girl. The step father intentionally did the crime. The jurists are the representatives of a paternal society where women do not get justice. Kristy's case is an example of injustice to women in a paternal society.

For me being having sexomania and said sleeping is not reason to make the Jury make a decission in favour of the rapist. May be in the face or thinking of jury's it is beyond his action, how about the girl sh should know or explain how he done it to here.. It should be guilty..
