Would you buy in bulk if there is a free or discounted item for it?

I like the buy 2 and get 1 free. If it is something I would use and it wouldn't go to waste then I would find it a good deal. I don't usually buy in bulk because we don't have room. It is a good idea to economize. Buying stuff you use alot or love to eat. It might be good for a favorite snack.

Hi my! Yeap, we buy more than we need to save some money sometimes. It's funny because when I go shopping, I would tell my husband that we would be saving a lot that day; since the more we buy, the more savings we get!hahahaha! Anyway, it seems that it's an all-year sale in the malls here in Thailand. Hence, we always have big savings. LOL!

If there is something I need then I will buy multiples. I will not if I cannot use it.

Sometimes this sort of special is OK if it's a product that you use regularly and often but at other times I simply don't want 2 of something, like soft drink or biscuits or some other inappropriate food stuff. Clothing items like shoes are a lot more expensive and even buying 2 pair with a discount can still be more than I can afford to pay. It can even be more than I need most times.

Oh when Iwas single I don't buy in bulk. But my mom does for the house. But now that I have a family and I know our needs, I love promotions and coupons. They are a big help. Believe or not, we were able to save a lot and enjoy the discounts we got. I am still learning how to budget my husband's salary and be able to fit in to our every day needs.

Hello friend! Oh yes,I do love buying in bulk as it saves a lot of money in my part. And I really like discounts and promos,lol! There are times that I will wait for sale before I go shopping,haha! Even in groceries,I buy in bulk.

I remember long time ago there were not many big supermarkets in our city. At that time the very early supermarket finally was available here. But it sold products in bulk. Even though, we were still excited to it and I went there with my friends. We bought the bulk and then we shared them. However, few years later since there were more new big supermarkets available and they didn't require you to buy in bulk. So the customers changed their purchase and this supermarket closed at last. It tells us that perhaps customers don't like buying in bulk so much. Since you have to pay a lot at first even though it seems to be cheap since you buy it in bulk. But it can be out of valid date when you can't use them up on time.

My answer is positive if there is a free or discounted item for it. And we often do so, especially the discount given in supermarkets. The discount is usually attractive that we buy it. I love this kind of promotion business in supermarkets or malls. Take care.

Oh yes..especially if I use it. It really can save alot of money and time if you are able to buy in bulk. I usually buy paper products and hygeine items like toothpaste and deodorant in bulk. Shampoo and conditioner too. There is this place here called Sam's Club where everything is pretty much bulk items they sell. I don't get to go alot but when I do I stock up lol.

For me it really depends on the situation at the time and whether or not I need the things that are on sale. For example, I will take advantage of those promotions when they are things that I know that I am going to need in the near future and also when I have money to make the initial purchase. However, when they aren't things that I need or have money for, then I will not take part in the promotions.

I learned that the products we buy in malls are being sold in a price much higher than its production cost. It is about 50%-85% higher so normally, I prefer factory sales. Lately, I joined a network of people that sells quality items that we use at home in a daily basis like laundry detergent and dish washing liquid. You can actually buy those high quality items in low prices exclusive for their members.

Yep. It is a great way to save money. You may think that it is ridiculous but i saved hundreds bucks every month doing this.

If I won't be needing the extra piece, and I don't have the extra money to add to get the offer, then I won't. Even if it's discounted, you still have to spend more to get the freebie or discount.

For me, yes of course, we save a lot of money. Most of the time, I have to wait until there is a big sale before I buy something, especially kids clothing because it is really epensive.

it depends on what it is. i often do not do this just because it is something i didnt need in the first place, but if it is something that i need, i will do it.

Yes i do. I always look for promotion like this esp with clothes. We can save money from this promo and we also keep some for a gift esp when it is X-mas season and we have a lot of friends to buy for gifts

oh yes, that is for sure. I am actually a person who loves shopping if there are sales or promotions so I can buy a lot instead of buying it with their regular price.

I often go for this kind of promotion, too, especially if there's a freebie (like a cup or a canister for the product), because it made me feel I did get something "special," after all, even if I don't buy the one with freebies, I'd still pay the same amount, right? As for the "Buy 2 Take 1" promotion, I only go for it if I really need or if I really use the product or if it would be beneficial for me. Like one time, I bought this big pack of Spaghetti noodles - I pay for 2 kilos (1 kilo per pack), and I'd get a 400grams pack of spaghetti plus a canister, and since our family is big pasta eaters, it like winning a spaghetti jackpot. However, there was also this one instance when I saw a chocolate bar promoted as "Buy 2 get 1 free" that I didn't buy because the chocolate is due to expire the next week. It is still a case to case basis, but of course, I do love promotions like this - it gives shoppers a value for their money.

I love bargins and I am always looking for them to buy. If I find a good one I always buy it. It is good to save money any way we can now a days
