What will the rain bring to your mind?

The rain means not having to wash the car or water the plants. It's often a relief, and washes away the pollen and heat. Once in a while, it's calming to just go out in the rain, especially the heavy rains, and just let it soak you through. It's kind of sobering, too. No matter what kind of technology we have, and what we learn to do, we will always have to cancel our plans for the rain. Nature is the true mother, and we have no control over her. The weather has been a bit scarier in the past few years, though, with global warming and natural disasters. It brings us all together, and hopefully, will help us learn to always be prepared for the worst.

When it's raining out, it is usually very soothing and calming for me. It also makes me think of romantic things =P

I love the rain. I love how the earth smells on a warm summer day... and how the mist rises from the ground afterwards. Rain reminds me of coming home soken wet and cold because I was driving my bike home from the barn and didn't make it in time before it started raining. Rain in winter makes me want to cuddle up with a book on the living room couch... or write a romantic letter to my love *sigh*

I only don't like the rainy seasons when I have to go out for something important and its ruining my way. However, when I am just at home, I do love it because it makes me feel like the world stops turning for a while and that everything is on a standstill and that I can be just resting or doing things slowly. Rainy days too is romantic and coming. It makes me feel better.
