Life after Death......?

Dear friends I had recently came across about a fact NDE (Near Death Experience). Is it possible for our consciousness to be existed outside our physical body. The answer maybe a big fat no if I am not aware of NDE. The science says so far the Near Death Experience survey is 80 to 95 percentage correct. I used to search for this phenomena at the every corner of google. So far my friends NDE is a fact. And it is possible for our consciousness to exist outside our body. But I could not figure out the answer for the questions WHY and HOW.....? Can anybody help me with this?
