I was watching Unsolved Mysteries on SPIKE this evening and they had the strangest story. This young woman decided to travel clear across the US 3000 miles to Oregon. She made it there in three days. After that her family no longer heard anything and her car was found in the bushes across a track where joggers traveled. The car was pretty well smashed but looked like someone had used it for shelter for awhile, her money was still there and her mother's engagement ring. Isn't that weird? She was no where to be found. What do you think happened to her?

Personally this is a little odd. I have heard about this, and too me, finding the Car smashed up like this but her money still there, and her mother's engagement ring sounds like some sort of deliberate set up to throw off the cops to her wanting to run away. Whether she was meeting someone she met online, or just wanting to be alone and away from people, I often wonder if anyone will ever really know.

And it looked like she had lived at the crash site for a while.

It looked as if someone had been living in the car. Yet all her things were still there. Weird.

I love a good mystery but hate to hear of one like this. I doubt that anything good has happened to her. How sad for everybody concerned.

They had options on the show. That she might have gotten a ride with some one and they did something to her. Or that she has amnesia somewhere. Both really sad.

Wow...I don't know...it could be a nimber of things I guess. There are a lot of criminals that prey on tourists or newcomers. The fact her things were still there is really odd though. Maybe it was a lover..or maybe she wanted to disappear. You just never know.
I like that show..there are always things that make you think on there..lol.

I am just so curious it drives me buggy wondering what happened to her.

My guess is that she was murdered. It could be an experienced, demented someone who takes great pleasure in murdering found her. When one has reached this level of inhumanity, they can be quite clever with cover ups and will not care about the victim's belongings - even if valuable. They only want the pleasure from the kill.
Or she was "alien-napped." I however have never been much of an alien believer...

But wouldn't there be a body? They scoured the area. Yes, a serial or demented killer could be it. Aliens? I don't know.

I was thinking that maybe she was kidnapped (or adultnapped) but if that were the case i'm sure that the person would have taken the money and the ring too. So maybe it was aliens (lol) because why would they need money or a ring.

If she left the car why didn't she take those two articles? Someone must have taken her and didn't see the article or she left not thinking of them for some reason.
