Every girl in her childhood have her own dreams of what she wants to be one day. Every girl, in a secret corner of her heart have that dream kept.
I remember back when I was small, I dreamt of becoming a beauty queen, I did joined pageants but the rest of the dream came true in the catwalk when I did modeling...
Also, I dreamt of falling in love... with a man of green eyes and a good heart... which came true when I met the man of my dreams.
I would love o hear from you girls too, what were your childhood dreams... did they come true to you too ?

NOne of them came true . I wished to be Cinderella, wanted to be swept off my feet. I wished to be married to a man with blue or green eyes but i ended up with a man with black eyes. I dreamed of marrying someone at least 5 years older than me, I ended up with someone 3 years younger than me. I dreamed of marrying an executive but ended up with a nursing student.
But then that's love and i have no regrets. I ended up with someone i never expect i would. Love is very surprising!

I'm happy for you... I guess dreams are like that, some come true some doesn't. The most important thing is a happy ending. When you end up being in love, everyday becomes a surprise no matter how normal things go, everything becomes a priceless memory. Keep being in love. :)

Almost 8 years of being married and i wish i could say i'm still in love. Love is still there, there's no question about it but i wish i could still keep the flame burning. But i'm still happy having my man next to me when i sleep and a beautiful son to take care of.

Wow! Good for you, your dream came true. I hope to meet the guy like yours. The qualities you dreamed of were also our wishful thinking with a friend. We are like kidding around if we are closer to have met the dream guy...

Yes I know I am lucky to have found the right man. It was destiny... we were two people from different part of the world... but then we found each other... I hope you and your friend will soon find the love of your life too. It won't really matter what color of eyes they have... keep on dreaming, on finding true and never ending love.

None of my dreams as a girl came true! i never found my Mr. Right. I never got married. I never owned a home. I never went to school for the career I thought I wanted. In the long run I am glad none of these things happened! I am so much happier, too!

When i was young, i only dream of being a princess like the one i read in fairy tales.. i want to meet my prince charming that is handsome and love you very much.. I also wanted to be a doctor, a pediatrician..but as grow up, it changes, instead of being a pediatrician, i wanted to be a psychiatrist/clinical psychologist.. i want to talk to people, listen to what the they, give them advices and medicine that could make them feel better.. in a more micro level, i want to be a doctor for mood disorders, learning disorders, trauma, phobia and mental retardation.
in terms of love, i met my prince, he may not be a crowned prince but he is more than a prince to me.. he is handsome and kind-hearted..and he loves me very much..

When i was a little girl i always wanted to be superhero or something really strong and powerful like my brothers. I grew up with two brothers and we always rough played and my favorite cartoon was Sailor Moon. I wanted to one of them so bad but obviously that couldn't happen. I'm not very strong or powerful either. I'm pretty much the weakest person I know. But I am a college student at a private university studying business and i have a wonderful boyfriend. Which i guess is better than being a superhero.

I agree with you. But it's also fun to look back in those years and remember what you want to be and see what you are now, and realize that you became better than what you wanted. Don't think of yourself as a weak person, every one of us, even super heroes have their weak sides. Just concentrate on what you're good at. Stay happy.

It didn't end up like that for me. When I was young I wanted to be a doctor, but as I grow up I was sickly so I didn't pursue to be one. I also wanted to be rich, lolz just as what most girls do dream of but I can say I am always in need.
My dream man was not the one I ever dreamed of, its so funny but I don't regret it even if my husband was a foreigner (whom I never thought would be for me) I am happily married and soon to be a mommy.
I still dream of having a house of our own, car of our own and such, maybe its still okay for me to dream as long as it is possible, I don't aim for impossible things that I might get frustrated or I might get disappointed.

As a young boy in Nigeria, I dreamed of becoming a pilot. I love aeroplane and helicopters since I was a child. I used to design paper toy of aeroplane as a young boy and I use it to play around my daddy 's compound.
I grew up with that mentality to love aeroplane and I decided along the line that I should attend a pilot school so that I can be trained as a pilot.
However, there are no good piloting school in Nigeria.
The Aviation college in Zaria, Kaduna state, in Northern Nigeria was not too equipped with the facilities to train pilot. They do not have good and working aeroplane to train student. Also, the tuition fees was quite expensive. So I ended up not being to study pilot. I can not afford to travel overseas for a piloting course because it was very expensive.
I decided to study business administration. So I will say my childhood course was piloting but I changed to business studies because I did not have the money to study piloting. The course was very expensive and my parents can not afford it.

not everyone has dreams and different then most.
For example, I had dreams of becoming a singer and then a teacher.
But none of that dream now is not the first for me.
Dreams are a good thing you left a memory of what we like.
I hope your dreams come true.
Because it should?
Have a nice day!
