I have recently just found Taylor Lautner's official facebook account and after I clicked like (I do like him, I'm team Jacob by the way) I scrolled through the posts. It was so amusing to read the comments on every post, You're hot... I love you.. I love you..., Marry me... Marry me... lol! and in different languages! And you know what? I almost posted the same thing! I can't believe I almost did something so... embarrassing... I am not the type to just propose to someone just like that. Could it be something in him that's so irresistible? Have you experience this? Were you embarrassed? Were you genuinely proposing, or just joking?

I don't think I'd ever try doing that to anyone yet alone on his website or webpage. It's just seems like these people are losers (pardon my words). I know they're not really serious bout it but it's just weird that they're praising this guy like he's a God. Anyhow, I don't really know him to really know if he's someone who could pass my ideals.

So you've never been a fan of anyone then? My siblings and I usually laugh at these girls when we see them on tv, they cry, shout out to the celebrities, hold banners... lol! It's so amusing. I do understand how you could think of them as losers. Some do tend to be stalker-ish. But I have been a fan, so I understand what they go through. Heck, I've even written my name with a celebrity's surname way back in high school. All in good fun.

To be honest, I've never been that type of a fan. I just like the actors and actresses but not to the point of stalking them or learning everything about them. That just doesn't happen in my generation I guess - perhaps we think that these people are just for display and still they're the same as us. This is actually true for all of my friends. But I do have cousins who went gaga over some actor. It's just humiliating when you grow up and realize how stupid you got. Although, I only went gaga over my crushes and such. Not with someone who I know I never will truly be with in my wildest dreams.

Yes, it is embarrassing. But when you and your friends have all done it, it doesn't seem so embarrassing anymore. You're all on the same plane. lol. You can even tease each other about it. Yup, knowing you'll never end up with somebody puts your mind into perspective. I mean, the person doesn't even know we're alive!

Yes, I would have been very embarassed if I had been found gushing over this guy and proposing marriage. I prefer girls. So I will skip, for now.

Not so interested in celebs. Ladies from normal life would be more the type, but I am married.

We need more guys like you djbtol. Us girls always think we have to be as pretty as celebrities to get the eye of the guys we like. It is rare for a guy to actually like average girls. Your wife is lucky.

I think that it's just an exhiliration of emotion because of the way someone is portrayed. An actor in a show whose character is charming and sensitive will naturally make the fans want to marry him as they believe (even thought hey know he's acting) that he is like that. I think it's more the fan falling in love and wanting the character, or the ideals the character has then anything else. I've done it before, I'm not ashamed to admit it, and for those reasons I listed above even!

That is so true. We don't even know the person fully to say we love him, we just loved him for the character he portrayed, or probably him as we see on screen. But that isn't enough to say we know him well. Yeah, most girls go through this, I think.

A lot of people use words differently to admire celebrities. It is just one of those things. It is quite obvious that they are not very serious about their words they just playing with words.

Hmmm, I stink some of them are. Haven't you seen on tv? Most girls are crying as if their lives depend on it. And if they're touched by the celebrity, they cry as well as if they've been blessed by some angel. It's funny to watch them.

it never hurts to feel ashamed if indeed it is very embarrassing, but if you think it's a good thing I usually recommend with really the extent it does not harm others and only give a good impact as well,go go go confident it is good for you...ekekekke ^__^

You're right. I don't think the celebrities mind either. I think some of them would actually feel reassured about their status as stars. Not that I'd like to make them feel too proud. Thanks for your reply.
