A pleasant day to you fellow mylotter,
Since the weather for the past few days were really hot, we tend to buy ice cream more often. As we are buying 1 gallon a day as in everyday. However, I have noticed that the price of the ice cream goes up. Due to this reason, I cannot help myself to ask the store manager why their ice cream price goes up as every after two days. And to my surprised, they just answered me, since the ice cream flavor supply is becoming out of stock, the reason why they are increasing the price.
With the reason that I heard from them, I somehow feel disappointed. And, I did not expect that was the reason behind why they are changing the price every after two days. Hence, what they are doing was not right and proper. Though the ice cream is in demand due to the hot weather, they should not do that to their consumers.

The customers will surely be disappointed. Yes, with the heat wave, the weather has been extremely hot, and people will run to ice cream shops. The shops may be taking advantage of that. I am an ice cream addict too, and keep a bucket of ice cream in my regrigertator always. I still have two buckets, so I am not caught by the high prices yet !!

That's the rule of the market, but I don't think is fair too. 
Also, where I live is winter now, but the prices of the ice cream goes up too. Probably, because it's winter, so, they do smaller orders. So, no matter if it's winter or summer, they always find a reason to raise the prices.

This also happens here in our place during summer,since the manufacturers knows that people loved to eat cold items.
but during rainy season they give a lot of promo because people seldom buy ice cream.
Why can't they just give promos during summer too,i am sure people will be buying more when it is summer time.

I agree on you arisheila! I love to eat ice cream when the weather is hot. Somehow it suites our thirst due to its coldness and sweetness. Sad to say that some business establishment will try to take advantage of the situation for them to get more profit and would increase the price right away which is not suppose to. How I wish the one in-charge of regulating the prices will take some action on this.

Ice cream is a good food during hot weather. However, we must be careful about the quantity that we eat as too many sugar can result in a lot of health problems. We should eat natural food such as fruits and they include oranges, mangoes, apples and other types of fruit.
Ice cream should be taken only when the situation demands that is during hot weather and we should eat less of it. Children be warned ice cream, chocolates,candies,biscuits,sweets,chewing gum are not good for your teeth!

Hei!
Well, I love icecream and it is true that in summer, with hot weaher icecream is really good treat.
And because the prices go up really fast and the really good stuff sometimes tend to run out, I bought myself a icecream machine (Krups; 1,6 Liters) :D
Now i can make different kind of flavored cream i like. Sofar banana icecream is my favourite and i haven't bought any icecream from shop about a month and half.....
If any of you do enjoy icecream a little more, i do recomend you to buy a icecreaam machine and explore the sweet world of icecreams and sorbets.

Another great thing I enjoy in the summer are "Chillattes" at Second Cup. They're a coffee smoothie with whipped cream and chocolate shavings on them. I drink one a day, and I sit outside for about two hours, and read a book, or play with my ipHone. They really bring the heat down.
