Hi all, I used to use water that is supplied by local water providing services. I used to filter the water obtain and use it. I didn't have any problem. But I changed the water by not using local service providers and purchased branded uv+ro water purifier and started using it. After one month my health was bad and until now I am revolving around doctors. I don't know the problem is either caused due to already used water by local water providers or due to present branded uv+ro water purifier. Did you ever face such problems. Let me know.

Safe water is hard to find these days. In Turkey, doctors also advise to use local water sources even for drinking (self sterilizing it) they say it is safer and healthier for people. They claim that turkey is one of the countries with safest waters. I also noticed that when I am making tea from the water from local providers compared to bottled water, the taste differs and I like the water from the faucet even better. But that's when Im in Turkey. When Im in the philippines or when Im in Riyadh, I wont advice using local water sources in this time, I cant trust that it will be safe. I guess your problem is not caused by your water source... you should tell your doctor and tell him how you think also, he is the best person who will solve your problem.

Davao City's water is described by experts as the second cleanest water in the world and the sweetest tasting water in the whole Philippines. We have a big number of expatriates permanently residing in Davao City. I also lived in Metro Manila for 22 years until 3 years ago and never had any problem with its drinking water.

I depend my health to God who gives me the strength and to obey also his words. If I know certain things that God hates because it is not good for my health, I do follow it. Water is just an example to rejuvenate us so that we don't feel thirsty. In this generation where water is already polluted, it is our responsibility to know the ways to keep it safe before we take it. Since you said you filter your drinking water before, then how come you still feel sick, if you think that the new filter system is the culprit then why not change it? If not else it will not be the water. Is your sickness really related to dirty water such as diarrhea or stomach upset or something else? Before we used to buy our water per gallon since we have a water dispenser. But since ordering is getting expensive, we opted to buy a filter. The last supply of ordered water made us change our minds to go buy a filter system. I got diarrhea due to that dirty supply, and when we buy our filter, I was back to normal again.

Hi strawberrychocodahi, I agree with you," it is our responsibility to know the ways to keep it safe." If my fate is bad even though if I drink water thinking good, it may be contaminated with some reason. That what I am trying to find out. I felt ultra violet filtration and reverse osmosis filtration is good as proved by some scientific research and I believed it. So I can't blame the filter system in one way. And I do follow healthy habits. I don't know the reason only God knows the truth.

In the old days, we used to drink tap water because it was safe. Nowadays, I have to buy water. When I am in the mountains, I drink directly from the springs. To tell you the truth, spring water taste better that bottled water. And from my observation. Folks in the mountains live longer just by drinking that. The cities are too polluted to be able to provide safe drinking water.

It could be co-incidence that your sickness and changing the water facility started at the same time. You didn't explain what exactly is your sickness. Because, this is rainy season and favorable one for viruses, bacterias and worms to breed. Therefore, many water related, air related sickness follows. Now, Water again is one of the main ingredients for the survival of living beings. It is important to maintain the purity of water. Changes in the water conditions sometime causes certain sickness. Haven't you heard the old saying when you go to a different place with different climatic conditions, that you should be careful about what you eat and drink. In the same way, if you think it could be water, just revert to old habits and you might see the difference.

Hi Chhetp1, I used to have pain in some joints switching from one joint to other joint. At that time I consulted rhumited doctor, she made all the test and told me that all the tests were clear and she recommended small physical exercises and adviced me to practice yoga. Later I concieved and missed abortion took place in 3rd month. Then my Gynocology doctor told due to thyroid reason, missed abortion took place, she kept me under thyroid medication and for 3 months my thyroid levels from hypothyroid changed to hyperthyroid. Some close relative who is a doctor adviced me and my husband to consult endocrynologist, who is very experienced. He looked at my thyroid levels and told, this much thyroid changes doesn't effect in abortion and told to take some tests, through the tests he told that my estrogen levels are very low and due to this thyroid is reflecting. So I am now in medication and feel so tired after doing small daily work and pain in joints sometime. This is the change in my health before and after change of water. I have a doubt and will surely ask the doctor in next visit. I will take his advice. Good day pal.

I think water especially clean water play a positive role in ensuring and sustaining a quality health of an individual or group. However, having a good health goes beyond water. It depends on so many other factors such as the food you eat, the exercise that you take, the hygiene that you keep with respect to your body.

It is possible that your change in health could be due to the change in water but it probably is just more likely a bad coincidence and nothing more. you could try switching back to the water you had previously and see if you get better then you might be able to tell what the problem is easier.

Hello Sreesai, During my childhood we used to consume raw well water of our own (in Kerala).Since last 20 years we are consuming purified water. We have aquaguard purifier. We do not have any problem with water. We use distilled bottle water outside home. We do not fall ill due to water problem. You may consume boiled and cooled water (not refrigerated). Your problem with water will be solved. We take purified water for cooking also.

Hi sreesai, I believe that our health depends upon the purity of water that we take in everyday. Having a good source of clean water will prevent us from getting any diseases. I assume that your seeking medical advice as of the moment since you've mention that you are now revolving around doctors. Try to ask the doctors whom you're seeking with, as to where might be the source of bacteria or the cause of your bad health.
