I also have read that news, and have collected those leopard pics, it is looking so dangerous and it was jumped on to cops. It was so scary. This is rarely happens in village areas which are in forest areas...

Hi surekharathi,
You are up to date with the news again. That is really frightening, imagine a village attacked by leopard.Maybe the leopard thought that the villagers were intruding in her sanctuary so her instinct is to defend their place which resulted in attacking the people.I hope her victims were doing fine now. Thanks again for sharing.

What to do but to pity also the leopards. It's their home too, remember that they were there first before people secluded the place. I don't blame the leopards, they are also protecting their home and security.

No friend I cannot blame the leopard because then not know anything where they want there they go. This is the duty of forest officer or Govt to take care of leopard. But this is danger for villagers. At a time six means much more.

It should had been a secured area ,may be its a forest area where there is the option for the wild animal to come out and attack the villagers.Actually it could had been driven away with lots of drums and noise or fire.I dont know whhy they hurt the poor animal and got hurt by the leopard.

If its not such type of area then the leopard will not enter the village.May be there is less security from the forest officials.

Hi Surekha
Oh wow the poor leopard was out of control. The man was running for his life and I can see how dangerous it was. Poor leopard to have been shot but it was the only way they could control it. There was no way of stopping the leopard outside of shooting it with the tranquilizer. *Sad*

Yes the pictures were really scary and gosh I am glad the leopard did not bite the man and killed him. Wow I would have been so scared out of my wits.

I surely can say that this was the fault of the govt. not of the leopards, they are just animals, but humans are not brainless, they should have proper security, that is a cat prone area they should do something for that, and by something i don't mean to kill the leopards,
